ACTION ALUMINUM SCREEN & GLASS, INC.

I have been a member of Angie's list for two years and have used several contractors for various contractors various con.  I have never written a review even though all the contactractors /services have been excellent. I came across a receipt from this company and the accompanying paperwork and was compelled to write a review.  I now realized how important these reviews are and I will do my best to complete them in the future.  I can not attest to the current business practices of this company but I can relay my experience when this company, who has since changed addressees completed, and I do use that word loosely, some work at my residence.  I hired this company to do two things: extend the area of my existing backyard patio and screen in the final enclosure.  This company in my opinion is very difficult to deal with; especially if your not satisfied with their service.  The screened in patio was never properly aligned and I had problems closing the door from the start.  I contacted several company representatives including the owner with little or no response.. I finally hired an attorney who wrote a letter to the company asking for a resolution. The company finally replied and fix the door.  This was two months after I tried to resolve it through them.  Fast forward to the present and the reason I writing this review.  The concrete slab the was poured by their company failed.  It has completed shifted at the pointed that it was added to my patio and has left a split in the patio floor.  The pavers that were laid on the top of the patio have been disputed.  The patio looks poor and once again I am contemplating all my options.  It appears that the concrete was improperly poured and was never reinforced. If you deal with this company please have them detail what work will be perform and how issues will be resolved if there is a problem.  I have not contacted the company reference the latest issue.  If this issue is resolved I will gladly update this  review.  I confirmed this is the same business my comparing fax and business numbers.  Their former address was 9216 Lazy Lane in Tampa.

IF YOU WANT A COMPANY THAT STANDS BEHIND ITS WORK, DON'T HIRE ACTION ALUMINUM.

THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE, AND THE WORK DONE WAS HANDLED IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. SCOTT AND ALL HIS MEN WERE EXCELLENT. I ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY.

SCOTT WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE AND EASY TO CONTACT. HE WAS PROACTIVE IN LETTING US KNOW HIS PLANS, OR IF THERE WERE WEATHER DELAYS. HE IS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR, SO HE WAS ABLE TO ARRANGE THE CONCRETE, PAINTING AND GUTTER WORK, INSTEAD OF US HAVING TO COORDINATE THAT WORK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES.
