Ackerman Jewelers was established in 1984 by Ron and Tina Ackerman, who continue to own and operate the store to this day. From their start in a small storefront, to the now large showroom full of an extensive collection of exquisite jewelry designs by many of the hottest designers of today, Ron and Tina have built their business on their integrity. They believe in offering jewelry of only the finest quality, and standing behind every purchase made at their store. With honesty and value as the cornerstones of their business, Ron and Tina are committed to offering a full service experience, believing that every person, whether they need a new watch battery or are searching for an engagement ring, should be treated with the same level of respect and consideration. Our experienced jewelry consultants are passionate about their business, believing, as do Ron and Tina, that your experience with us is the most important aspect of what we do. a very generous gift. When we realized that it really wasn't going to
work for me as it was yellow gold and all of my jewelry is not, we went
back to Ackerman's to see if we could find something else. The store is
very expensive with high quality jewelry (a good thing). However,
there was nothing within my price range that I wanted. I went back on 3
different occasions to look for something that would work. On two of
the occasions I took the same piece of jewelry to add to the $1200
return to try and afford something in the store that I liked. On those
occasions I was given two very different estimates ($1600 the first time
and $1000 the second). Additionally, when I tried to add my Hearts on
Fire diamond to the trade, they offered me half of what it was worth.
Of course, they gave me lots of reasons why this was the case.
Here is my biggest problem. If I can't find anything in a store that I
can afford and the store can't seem to give me a reasonable value for
one of their advertised best diamonds (Hearts on Fire), I believe good
customer service would be to return my money and not require a trade.
I would not recommend Ackerman Jewelers unless you are LOADED and can
afford to lose thousands if you purchase a gift that your partner
doesn't really like. I have left with no customer satisfaction.
