concrete repair
+ -1 moreI sent a fairly large concrete quote out to bid to several folks. Bill came back well in excess of the others. He had been recommended to me, so I gave him a chance to explain why his bid was higher. I simply asked how he built his quote, and what his assumptions were. His reply: "As far a final number however, I am not looking to justify anything. It is what it is." I want do business with people who are willing to explain how they quote a job. Concrete work is not black magic, it's easy to understand the costs, labor and markup. This gentleman felt he did not owe a customer any explanation whatsoever.
Description of Work: He provided me with an extremely inflated quote.
