A-1 Express Airport Parking

John gave me directions and assured me that he would take care of us when we arrived. My husband was traveling without me and was hesitant to use a service here since we were used to parking on airport in the small town where we used to live. My husband called from the parking lot, and John gave him further instructions, and made his transition through their facility smooth. They got him to the airport quickly (left at 2:35 p.m.), and he made it through security and to the gate a full 70 min prior to departure 2:55 p.m., even with a teenager in tow.
My husband is very pleased with TIA so far, the longest security line has been 30 min. He has been able to time his flights so that he's not in peak traffic coming or going, and now A-1 Express is going to make parking at the airport a breeze. Some of the reviews I read before planning to use this company were very positive, and others not so much. For our self-park, covered garage, the facility, service, and transfer to airport timeliness were just right. John deserves applause for his efficiency, professionalism and supportive approach.

Service was good, only slight awkwardness was finding the correct deck on which to park. No signage was provided, had to discover that out by walking down to first floor deck (from 2nd floor), then walk back up to drive car up one more floor and come back down.

There is a small parking area outside the A-1 Office where you park your car. Our car was no more than 50 feet from the office. You can either pull up at the office and unload your bags or walk the 50 feet with them. Normally this isn't bad except if it's raining heavily as it was that day. Yes we did get wet. I assume while we were gone our car was parked some place else, but upon our return it was in the parking area waiting for us. Overall I think A-1 provides very good or better service, but for me to rate them all A's they need to do the following: Ideally you would pull up to the office and they would remove the bags and park your car. Next best thing is that they would at least remove your bags and place them on the bus. Upon returning they would place the bags back in your vehicle. The people we came into contact with were very nice and we will use A-1 again and recommend it to others.

When we reached the location, we didn't see what we expected. The attendants were very good, but the location looked like a junk yard. The taxi service was very good.

I arrived at 4:30 am for a 5:50 flight. The garage and check-in area was VERY WELL lit, saftey felt like it was well thought through. shuttle both ways was fast and responsive to my times. Staff was professional and even helped when hands were full.

Overall I rate them very high. The only thing that happened that upset me, was on the return Van ride from the Airport back to A-l. I waited for the driver to unload the bags. When I saw my bag unloaded, I stepped forward to pick up my bag and hand the driver his tip. He stood there w/ other bags in his hands, STOPPED-looked up at me and said: and quot; I am busy unloading bags right now,and quot; and asked me to step back out of the way. I was humiliated in front of all the other people, stepped aside and realized that I would be standing there for awhile if I waited for him to get done unloading. I put the tip money back in my pocket and left.

We dropped the car off. They drove us to the airport. They also picked us up from the airport within 5 minutes of when we got back. Their service was immediate and we did not have to wait on anything.

I have used A-1 parking services several times a year for 3 years. They have been consistently on time, saved me money, and cleaned my car will for a reasonable rate. If you travel and don't like facing the parking garage at TIA, then A-1 Services is an excellent alternative. They have a map on their website and are located close to TIA. They take reservations.
