911 Restoration of Tampa

Description of Work: well, they were called at 3:30 on September 26 2014, they were called because our fresh water attachment to the master bath toilet split. I woake up at 3:15 AM and found our home flooded. The other reason I called them was because they were the only one in the phone book with a Tampa address, however the person that runs this office lives in Orlando and the arrived at our house at about 7:00 - 7:30 am. |During the removal of the water and the flooring in the bedrooms our dresser was broken. The insurance company told them to provide a price for the reconstruction that didn't come about until November. We stayed in a hotel until March of 2015. |Let me explain about their workers first off they were not qualified to do the work and were very unprofesional. When they procced with the tile removal they had all of our furnature stored (that's a story in it self). All of our lights, four ceiling fans, upper kitchen cabinets and pool furnature were in place they opened the front double doors and the sliding glass door to the pool deck and our pool furnature nothing was covered and they proccced to jack hammer the tile up there was concrete dust on everything encluding the screened pool enclouser. To this day we are still finding dust. | |Painting, they painted over the dust and said we think the paint isn't drying because the of the humidity in the house, however what I saw was roller strips of different shades of the color they were using. |Flooring is Pergo's 12 mm flooring upon completion of our bedroom they had to replace over 100 boards because they snap into place side to side however the ends require the use of one of the cut boards up against the end and you are to tap the cut board with a hammer to slide it in place, Well they hit the board it caused the in place board to curl on the end.Now in doing this work they had already installed part of the flooring in the entry and the living room so when they completed the remove and replacement they have a gap of 1/8" at our bedroom door. |From start to finish I continually asked them to use the original installers. also to remove and replace the base cabinets in the kitchen i asked them to use the contractors the had reworked our cabinets and installed a Quartz counter top. Oh no our guy's know how to do this work, wrong they broke the quartz backsplash and then tried to hide it and it wasn't until the day I gave them the remainder of their moneys that I found it and we are waiting for them to come and repalce that portion of the backsplash. So next month it will be a YEAR that we have been dealing with these so called Contractors |There are other items I could make you aware of that are not to our satisfaction I spent 40 years in Architecture and Construction Administration and I have never seen such poor workmenship in my life |I do want to give credit where credit is due, unfortunately I do not have a card for them but the tile installers were the only Professionals on this project and they did a wonderful job. | |They also used a storage company for our furnature, the guy's that did the packing and removal did a good job however the folks that load the truck to bring our things back or when the removed the things from the truck for storage were not as careful. We had broken,damaged and missing items. They picked up some of the items and the repair was crap, the company they sent to repair our china cabinet did a fantastic job.

Description of Work: This review is based not on the company 911 restoration but the managing partner (Chris Treat). Chris in 2008 worked for my company and stole over 65000 in down payment monies from 9 customers. He then took off with the money without paying for a dime in materials or labor.. I have had to pay 30000 in legal fees and still in courts hands. His partner in crime Mr Ryan Davis has been ordered to pay approx. 186,000 in this matter. Fact check (Greene county Mo clerk of court) . This however does not let Mr trwat off the hook since he was the one that actually took the money. He stated when judgement is granted he will just file bankruptcy. i personally would not deal with a company with an indivdual like this runnung the show. Proceed with caution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
