Reliable AC Services did a significant amount of work on a renovation for us and we paid them approximately $23,000. Most of the work was satisfactory, and when the job was incomplete or not done properly, they eventually fixed the problem. Their most recent job was a new AC unit installed for $3744 around March 2022 that made a lot of noise and did not cool. The first time we notified them, they claimed that is just how it was supposed to be. The temperature would not go below 77 degrees and they came back again and said the compressor was "bad". They replaced the compressor in August 2022 and charged us $1563 for the replacement and repair. The warranty states "10 year warranty on all parts and one year on parts and labor". They claim the warranty does not apply because it was a faulty compressor and it is not their responsibility to fix it?!? It clearly should be under warranty since it is only a few months and we should not have to pay extra for a new unit that did not work. They do not understand the meaning of warranty.
