Susie is incredible! After our first meet and greet, I was I instantly at ease about leaving my babies, Sticky and Elroy, in Susies care. Susie went above and beyond while taking care of the cats and fish. She also watered my plants, checked my mail and swept up kitty litter and even added fresh litter to the pan! I can’t recommend Susie enough! She will no doubt be my first phone call when planning future trips!

Susie is an excellent dog sitter and more over an excellent person. Her warming and welcoming personality made us feel at ease and worry free about traveling and leaving our pup Yogi alone. She was even generous enough to turn our lights on and off at specific points and kept our home just as safe as we would. She took very good care of our pup and we are very happy that we chose her as a pet sitter. 110% recommend!!

Excellent! I went away for a week and just returned. My little dog Mandy was well cared for as well as my house by Susie Grimes. Sue is EXTRAORDINARY! She cannot provide me pet sitting bec I am out of her service area, but she went out of her way to call several other pet sitters and give me recommendations and advice as to where I could get a great sitter for my dog! She spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with me and sent me several texts, and she wasn't even getting the business!!. Its absolutely remarkable that someone would care so much about animals even if she isn't getting paid and to be so very kind to help out a total strangle with nothing in it for her. This speaks volumes of Sue's character and tell you how great she will be with your pets!

She has always followed my directions perfectly. She has been pet sitting for us since the 1980's. During all these years she has done pet sitting for 2 cats that we raised and 6 dogs. The 2 cats and 4 of the dogs have passed away. When pet sitting for the cats she fed them, cleaned out their litter boxes, put fresh litter when needed, and played with them. When we are away she sends pictures and videos of our 2 dogs to my cell phone. She always keeps us informed while we are away. I would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!

Very much like every time we call upon Susie, she checks our file to double check our info and asks if we need to update anything (alarm code, dietary needs, etc). She is great with sticking to a schedule and sent us texts (with photos) that the fur kids are AOK! She always follows up that we have gotten back into town (in case we are delayed and needs to go back). As usual, Susie takes away the stress of worrying about the furry ones while we are away so we can fully relax! She is a complete pleasure to hire and is truly a "pet care professional"!

Perfectly, every time I have used her during the past 5 1/2 years since I moved to this area. On the one occasion when she was unable to give me coverage, she had to back up people that I was able to interview in advance so I would feel comfortable with them. My dogs absolutely love her . Once in a while she stops by to say hello if she's in the neighborhood and is soon as they see her they forget about me and our jumping all over her. I trust my animals. They would never love another person who didn't give them 150% of our care at attention. I can't understand anybody who gives a negative rating. That is an absolute aberration. I trust her so much, that if she were not able to take care of my dogs are the dates I needed to be out of town, I would change my plans.

Wonderful! Mandy loves her. She is compassionate, caring and very loving. I was in the hospital and a hurricane came and she secured Mandy and my house. She goes above and beyond! She is one of the most caring people I know especially with all animals!

I have been using Susie's services for over 6 years and have referred her whenever I get a chance. I have 2 cats and one is really shy but Susie takes the time to get to know them and gain their trust. The attention to details makes me trust the care and respect she has for my cats. She calls them babies, and before her first visit she brings a blanket with her scent so the cats can get used to her. Susie used to be a cop. On her interview she brought a file with all recommendations and background papers. We trust her and will not schedule a trip without checking if she's is available. She takes pictures of them and is always available if you need her to check on things for you in the house.

She is such a good caretaker. I never have to worry when I go out of town I know that she's going to take care of my animals. She's taken care of my cats, she taken care of my fish, taken care of my rabbit, she's taking care of my spider. it doesn't matter what kind of animal it is Susie takes care of them as if they were her own. love her to death.

Sue Grimes is a dedicated professional pet sitter who cares for our 3 dogs, 3 cats and saltwater fish daily during our work week. We have only wonderful accolades to say about her: always on time, always aware, always very kind hearted. We can tell she has a passion for taking care of pets and we are so happy to have found a pet sitter who is devoted to the care and safety of our babies. Plus we trust her 100% in our house and have hired her for over night stays when we are away on vacations. We highly recommend Sue as a pet sitter!

Susie has been my Petsitter for many years and has taken care of all of my cats and dogs, young and old, sick and healthy. She is the most dependable, honest, caring person I have ever employed to take care of my pets and enter into my home. She communicates with me, sends me pictures of my pets to let me know how they are getting along, and also keeps an eye out for any issues with my home. I know that in my absence, she will do ANYTHING that needs to be done in caring for my pets, including taking them to the vet. She keeps detailed notes on all of my pets and their quirks, feeds them special foods and pills exactly as we discussed, and she loves them as if they were her own. She follows up to make sure I have arrived home so that my pets are not left alone if I am delayed. I can not recommend her enough. You will not be disappointed!!!

Susie is beyond wonderful! Susie tended to my Dog like I would. You know what they say about animals and kids knowing if someone is good or bad???? Well, my dog LOVES Susie and so do I. My house was as I left it. My babies were so well taken care of and everything was spotless in my house. All garbage was put in the outside trash can as I asked. I can't give her enough praises.

Not well. I left a glowing review of this service on 7/7/2013, but in good conscience felt I had to update that. This service has been declining over the last year or two. When we got home the house smelled as if litterboxes hadn't been cleaned in at least a week (definitely not twice per day, as agreed upon - my house never, EVER smells like this or even remotely close to it). In addition sitter did complete opposite of my instructions regarding not overfilling litterboxes with litter (I keep this level lower than most people do), since I would be completely changing out litter on my return. The litter I use is expensive ($33/28 lb bag), and she wasted well over $60 of cat litter by grossly overfilling litterboxes - I could barely lift them. She used all the available cat litter I had on hand, at least two 28-lb bags. I threw all litter in boxes in the garbage, as the litter smelled bad (even after a month of use the litter does not smell bad when I am cleaning boxes twice per day, another indication that boxes were not being cleaned properly). I can't afford to waste money like this. Also, my cats showed signs of stress on our return (vomiting, loose stool and urinating outside litterboxes, which never happens otherwise). I am very disappointed. I know sitter has a lot on her right now, but I would have much more respect for her had she just been honest with me and let me know she was unwilling or unable to care for my cats. Maybe she's more of a dog person, I don't know. I freely admit I am very particular about how my cats are cared for, but that's no excuse. I will not be using this service again. Price shown is per visit.

fabulous! Susie sends texts and let's me know not only how the cat is, but how my mother-in-law is doing too. I even get photos! Susie truly cares about pets and ensures they are well taken care of.

Unfortunately, the service area she covers doesn't include Oakland Park.

Susie is the best and provides TLC for my cat. She is a finicky eater so Susie paid attention to the flavors of the canned food at each visit and rotated as necessary. My kitty is a Persian and requires daily combing, so Susie made sure that was done, not much , just enough to prevent mats. The kitchen was immaculate, the mail was brought in and she kept a daily log with entries of each visit and how it went. She made sure the box was always scooped, and provided fresh water each visit. Susie has been my Cat Nanny for several years and I used to have more cats. 

When I go away, I don't worry about my cat at home, Susie can handle anything.

I recommend her without hesitation.

She is the greatest find!!!! She is professional, likable, meticulous. She walks, feeds, administers medication. She stopped by the other night and my dogs went crazy with love, so happy to see her. I cannot sing her praises enough. Thank God I found her!

Great, as always. I have used Susie's services for years and followed her to her new company. I trust her completely in my home and with my precious cats. She loves my kitties as her own and I know she wouldn't hesitate to do whatever is necessary to ensure their safety. She provides customized care for my cats - I know I can rely on her to follow any special instructions I give her. I am very particular about the care of my cats, so this is saying a lot. In addition, I feel more secure when we are away from home, knowing she is checking on things twice a day and there to respond to any emergency that might arise. Her rates are very reasonable, in fact the lowest in the area for anyone I would trust in my home and with my cats. It gives me peace of mind knowing Susie is there for my cats and keeping an eye on my home, so that I can relax and enjoy my vacation.
