Yes, I recommend this pro
This company did an excellent job and finished everything off so much better than the previous company we used on the other floors in our home. I would recommend Zapata Hardwood Floors as they did a great job for us.

They did a crappy job.  The floor when it was done was not even consistent with the floor outside the room.  There is about half an inch difference.  They probably did better up front before I left the house and they could have told me that could happen then I would not have the floor installed.  The problem was how they lay the floors.  Since I don?t lay floors, I don?t know that that could be the result.  They finished in one day and they would not wait until I get home so I could look at the result.  I think they did it on purpose.

However, the price was good.

They made mistakes.  Cracks appeared in the floor after they laid it... some pretty large ones.  At the entry way one crack was about 3/8" wide... some smaller but still very noticeable ones at two other door ways.  Brent came to check it out after several phone calls and asked me to call him back in a month.  I think he though it might fix itself.  I waited a month and made an appointment for them to come back.  They came a day earlier than expected... not convenient -- but, we rearranged out plans to accommodate them.  He had tried to get us to buy another carton of material to use in fixing their job.  I had seen them break up and carry away long pieces...  and it didn't seem right that we should have to buy more material.  He did supply the material in the end.  He was a real sour puss and pretty rude... and that is after he told me that he didn't care for rude northerners coming to Tallahassee.  We're not rude and we're not exactly northerners either.  I'm from Texas and my husband is Hungarian.  He  didn't do good work... delayed fixing a bad job...  was not pleasant to work with...  didn't return phone messages promptly.  They did eventually get the floor fixed.  I would also hesitate to use Lumber Liquidators if that is the quality of workmen they send out with their material.  We had to pay Lumber Liquidators for the installation, yet when I called about the cracks appearing in the floor, they told me they weren't responsible and that I would have to deal with Zapata directly.

I do not feel that they provided quality service. Not a lot of attention to detail. Promised a lot initially, but did not deliver.
