WOOD YOU

The Wood You pieces really worked out well that we purchased fourteen years ago, then for another piece eight years ago, and will be putting in an order soon for additional pieces. We have been very satisfied with the products purchased from Wood You and very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship of the painting and staining.

The quality of the unfinished furniture was excellent. I wish I could say the same for the quality of the staining and other detailing provided by a person recommended by Wood You. Apparently, Wood You does not check his work prior to final delivery. We were shocked and disappointed when he delivered our order. The finishing was so poor, we declined to have him re-do his work. Unfortunately, Wood You insists on that option as the only remedy, even though that is unacceptable to us. From this experience, we have concluded that Wood You is less than fully committed to the success of the complete transaction and customer satisfaction. - Hence, the failing grades in Responsiveness and Professionalism. In sum, you likely will be happy with any unfinished furniture you buy from Wood You...but finish the pieces yourself, or have someone you know finish them for you. You'll save a lot of money, too.
