Horrible experience, start to finish! Asked for cash down payment (over $2000) with remaining balance payable by check. When came time to pay him , he wanted to jack the price up $500 (because of having more to remove grass than he thought), I refused, but gave him additional $200 for getting more sod. When they were almost finished he pleaded for me to give him the final payoff before they were done so he could pay his guys ( banks were closing in an hour). I stupidly gave him the check, later find that they ran out of grass again. After two day, my wife went out and spent $100 on sod needed to finish the job ourselves. The sod they put down was extremely dry and cut very thin (fell apart in their hands) Would not use a sod cutter to remove the grass because of my irrigation system, but used a tractor and shovel in instead????? Didnâ t get all old grass up well. The sod was put in by his crew comprised of family and friends, and it shows! My wife and I not only laid sod, but also spent the afternoon putting dirt in between all of the gaps in hopes it will someday fill in. I wouldnâ t most definitely NOT recommend this guy !!!!!!!

Wayne came promptly even during the rain on Monday afternoon. I had a quote the next day. I thought that the price was high, and asked for an itemized quote. We did some negotiating and came to a quick agreement. On Thursday morning by 830 Wayne arrived with his crew, tractor and sod. 30 minutes later fill dirt arrived. By noon the job was done to completion. They left nothing out that was discussed, and done to perfection. Wayne answered all of my messages promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend him to everyone. I am a very happy customer. Thank you Wayne and your crew.
