Well. Most recently, they responded in an hour and a half to a sudden water heater leak and had the problem under control quickly.

They were okay. They had a lot of turnover, so the folks that did it, did not actually finish the job off right. Whenever we called them back, they sent other people out that confirmed that it was not done right. We ended up having the owner to come out to actually rectify some of the situations. There were some hiccups with it but they really worked to make things right. On the flipside, they were supposed to come back in April and do a year’s follow-up but they never showed up. It is hard to complain about that because it is working so it is okay.

We developed a leak under the sink where the reverse osmosis system was connected. Vince removed the saddle clamp that leaked and installed a new brass T valve - much better connection. We were also unhappy with our shower. Vince installed a new, longer pipe to get the shower head further away from the wall and installed a much better quality Delta shower head.

I called them after they completed the work and was suppose to hear back from the service repair man who did the inspection. 3 calls later I still didn't talk to the man who did the inspection, but the secretary. She claimed that from the report I needed to have the unit cleaned and quoted me a price of $1500 to clean the unit. All parties agreed that that price was outrageous and we ended up calling another company who did all the work (including fixing a valve that Watts didn't even tell us was broke) for $500 (1/3 of the price Watts quoted). I will not EVER use a company that jacks up there prices that high!!!

They installed our new HVAC system at our home two years ago, and a reverse osmosis water treatment system a year ago. We now have them under a PM service contract. They are in our opinion the best in Tallahassee.

A friend recommended them to me.  I probably won't use them again because I found another company that seems more capable.

They are really good.  I've used them for years and they are really good.  They are locally owned.  They are fair and reasonably priced.

The technician who came to do the work completed it in a little under three hours.  Although I had been told the work would cost so much because it required two people, the cost was the same as the original quote.  But we were very happy for a couple reasons.  One was that three different companies had come out to repair the unit under our home  warantee (American Homeshield) and no one had bothered to tell us about the need for the second air filter.  Only when we paid out of pocket on our own did we discover this problem. Second, it made such a huge difference in the cooling of the house we were just really satisfied.

But there were aggravations, mainly with the lack of communications between employees.  The person who came out to do the work did not know he was supposed to bring a filter, nor did he know he was supposed to perform the original performance check.  He did not have th forms with him that detailed what was included in the check, but said he did it anyway.  The invoice was not itemized, so I had no way of knowing what I paid for. He said he would be back the next day with the filter and the form.  After a reminder phone call he finally returned with a filter that did not fit.  After one full week of repeated phone calls and emails from me we finally had the filter and an itemized invoice. I had been told the filter was an unusual size and they had to special order it, but when it eventually came I was told the filter was actually a standard size after all. The detailed invoice was emailed to me as well.  They are really very nice people and I was happy with what I received in spite of what I think was an inflated price.  As with many companies, patience and perseverences was needed to get the job done completely as promised.

$2,200
Contractor replaced air handler. Quoted $2,010, charged $2,200. When this failed to solve the problem quoted a high price for replacing the entire system, both air handler and condenser. Wanted to keep $1,000 for the first air handler they had installed for $2,200, which did not correct the problem, plus $7,169 for another air handler and condenser, total $8,169. I told their service manager to come and get his air handler, I'd go to another contractor. He said just have other contractor pull it out and set it aside, and Watts would pick it up. When that was done, he refused to pick it up, and said owner would not refund my $2,200. I loaded the air handler on my truck and returned it. I spoke to the owner, who said I'd still have to pay the $2,200 even though I had returned their air handler. She claimed, falsely, that her service manager had told me up front that replacing the air handler might not work, and also that he had no authority to agree to take it back. His title on company documents is Sales/Service Manager... I filed a dispute with the credit card company. Resolution pending. Note: Next contractor charged $4,800 for a complete system.
