Tyrone, the owner, is a thief. He stole our money. I would never recommend using him as he lacks professionalism/morals due to him stealing. Please read below to understand.
Because we weren't able to stain our fence, we accrued a $600 credit with Tyrone. He asked if we wanted it back or to keep it for future work. We said we're going to be purchasing a new front door and that we wanted to paint it, so keep it for now.
It's been 2 months since we bought our door and Tyrone hasn't done the job. After many attempts to call with no response, I finally texted him on Saturday, June 4th to be sure he received the message that my wife and I expected the door to be painted in a week or our money returned by Friday, June 10th.
Tyrone then called me within 10 minutes of receiving the text saying he couldn't believe my candor in 'threatening' him. He said 'Ok, I got you' and hung up the phone. We received no calls back, no texts back despite reaching out during that week.
I ended up finishing the door myself so my wife texted Tyrone on Friday or Saturday, June 10th/11th, stating that we no longer require his services and we expect a check for our money in the mail or he can leave it on our doorstep by Friday, June 17th.
Again, no response from Tyrone and no check has been received.
I repeat again, he is a thief and not deserving of your business for the money you've likely worked hard to earn.
