Tallahassee Roofing did my roof back in 2014, over the years winds and vegetation have caused problems with some fascia and soffits. Tallahassee Roofing came out and fixed the problem at no charge. 4 years later!! Glad I picked them the first time.

Tallahassee Roofing crew came and tore off the old, damaged shingle roof. They repaired the damaged areas and installed a new metal roof. The crew was excellent and the office staff was also great. We would definitely hire this company again.

Positive: The owner was very professional on the phone and apologetic when the servicemen had to delay the job due to illness multiple times. The roof is not leaking and is repaired better than it was. (A flash was added that was not there which helps drainage.) The owner even honored my Angie's List coupon when I realized I did not use it for final payment. He issued a refund for the amount. Negative: There was a mess left - nails on the ground, gutter that had to be removed was not replaced, but left bent on the ground in a flower bed, and the tiles don't exactly match.

We bought a house that needed a new roof. The lender would not do the loan until it was confirmed a roof would go on in a timely manner. We were told that Tallahassee Roofing would be our best bet. Even though others bid lower, we went with the reviews others had told us. They had their full crew on our roof for 4 days. They removed the entire roof of our 2 story house, car port, and addition, replaced areas of wood that had rotted and put on a new roof in 4 days. Our neighbors told us they never saw a roofing job go so fast and had MANY compliments on how it looked. The crew was very respectful, keeping the area clean and a man with a trailer for all the debris was on hand to bring in another trailer each time one got filled. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Futhermore, they got the job done in the time the lender needed. An inspector came out a couple days later and said the job looked great.

very honest...I thought I needed repairs...but they said roof was in terrific condition. honesty like that is hard to find...they could have said I needed new roof and I wouldn't have been the wiser. I will contact the taylors for all of my roofing problems from now on.

I contacted the office and spoke to Jeanette who was friendly, professional, and thoughtful. I was so impressed with them the previous year when I intended do the work that I called back for a new updated proposal. This time I requested architectural shingles. Stacy came out and met me at the house. He got the necessary measurements and delivered the estimate in a timely manner. I had so much contact with Stacy that I felt that we were becoming family. I had done my research, always do your research, so I had lots of follow-up questions. I was surprised how many times Stacy offered to come by and did show me the explanation. We corresponded by email and cell phone as well. They were very professional! I had an unexpected death in the family so all my planning to be there when the roofing happened went out the window. It went excellently with me not being there! That is unheard off!! By the way, Stacy also did simultaneously my elderly neighbor's roof which I handled while setting up for mine. They removed all the old roofing all the way to the plywood decking and then applied protective layers recommended with architectural shingles. I was given many options for how much I want it to invest on my roof. I bought the works because based on my research the price was nominal and the cost worthwhile. These folks, from the office, installers, and owners are the best.

I didn't select them because I was trying to spend as little as possible since we are replacing our roof to put it on the market. Tracy with Tallahassee Roofing's estimate was very thorough and he answered all questions I had timely. He seemed very knowledgeable and personable.

This was a small job and, in fact, the work was done within 30-45 minutes. What I was most impressed with was the promptness with which the work was performed. I had called other roofers before Tallahassee Roofing for estimates but those companies could not be bothered to even return my calls (including the company that had done my total re-roofing five or so years ago). I called Tallahassee Roofing on Wednesday and they had workers on my roof two days later. I did not comment on the price because I just wanted the job done so, once Tallahassee Roofing said they'd do the work, I didn't call anyone else for cost comparison. I would absolutely use this company again in the future.

It went extremely smooth because of their professionalism. We are very pleased.

Very professional. Got a competitive on the spot estimate for a little over 1000 sq feet of architectural shingles and good quality felt. New lead covers for all vents with anti squirrel wire around them. Replaced dryer vent cover. Three Guys started work at 7:00 AM. They worked all day until 5:00 PM. During the day there was debris on the ground from the roof and I was thinking that this is going to be difficult to fully clean up. But by the end of the day all roofing debris had been totally cleaned up, and I mean it looked like it had been vacuumed. The roof looks great, they even cleaned out the gutters. I highly recommend this roofer.

New roof for small condo building in Wakulla county (Shell Point). Minor rain delay but otherwise completed on time, on budget. Kept site reasonably clean during job and well cleared after.

I am overall very impressed with the service I received from Tallahassee Roofing, Inc. The flat roof on our 1960's house was leaking again in several places. Actually, the house would need its third roofing job since we bought it in 1993. In the past, whenever we called in other contractors to propose a solution, my wife and I would ask if it wasn't possible to change the roof to a slight pitch, so water would drain off. Everybody gave us a song and dance about how that would be impossible. This time, I am glad to say contacted Tallahassee Roofing. The first thing they said was: "This house needs a pitched roof." They provided a plan for building up a 1/48 pitch using insulation foam between the plywood and the usual roofing materials. Other companies still gave me the same old song and dance. |After consulting with an independent building inspector, I accepted the Tallahassee Roofing proposal. I had to wait about two weeks before they could start. But then they did it all in under four days! Smooth, professional, on schedule. And cleaned up their mess afterwards. Not cheap, but worth it! |In short: Tallahassee Roofing Inc. have my highest recommendation.

TALLAHASSEE ROOFING HAD 50 JOBS AHEAD OF ME AND SAID IT WOULD BE ABOUT 6 WEEHS BEFORE THEY COULD GET TO MINE. I TOLD TRACEY TAYLOR THAT WOULD BE O.K. BUT MY HOUSE INSURANCE WAS ABOUT TO RUN OUT AND TO GET ANOTHER INSURANCE CO. I WOULD HAVE TO GET A NEW ROOF. THE NEXT DAY THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY HAD A CANCELLATION AND WOULD I LIKE THEM TO START ON MY ROOF THAT DAY. I SAID SURE AND THEY DID. DESPITE THE RAIN , THEY FINISHED IN 2 DAYS. THE ARCHITECHTURAL ROOF HINGLES LOOKS GOOD.

Tracy Taylor was right on time for the estimate, and his crew was right on time for the work, replacing damaged decking, felt, and shingles, as well as drip edge and eave and soffit. Their price wasn't the lowest, but they did an excellent job. I highly commend them. Their subcontractor (Waterhawk Gutters) also did an excellent job. It looks like I may have made a mistake by contracting with another gutter company to replace the non-damaged gutters -- even though they came highly recommended by someone else who had done work for me. I will post more details if they do not correct the problems.

Took them three months to start job because they were so busy and some rain delay. Of the three estimates I had they were the highest but had a good reputation from what I could tell and they followed up with calls, estimate and other visits to get the job. There was a leak in roof and they stopped that. They were responsive before starting the job and retuned calls. They did a good job installing new roof from what I can tell and they did it quickly. However, after getting paid they failed to get gutter contractor to me after they had removed all the gutters. They don't do gutters but part of the deal was they would get someone for me at a discount. I wound up having to arrange for that at a premium. Worse, they left nails all over the property. I've stepped on multiple nails and had to go to ER and get a tetanus shot. We can't walk on our lawn without shoes.

I called Tallahassee Roofers for an estimate after a tree fell on my roof recently. They promised their appraiser would be there at 4:30 pm on Wednesday afternoon. Tracy Taylor arrived promptly at 4:30. He was very professional, and conducted a thorough examination of the damaged area. He explained everything he was considering as he examined the damage, and said he would try to have the estimate to me by the weekend. I received his estimate via email on Thursday afternoon. I don't know how his estimate will compare with others (yet to be received), but he and his company have certainly impressed me thus far!

Tracy Taylor and the Tallahassee Roofing team did an awesome job replacing my roof. Everything was done in a timely manner from responding to my initial inquiry the very next day to hauling away the trash and debris at the end of the project. Their punctuality, honesty and quality of workmanship was truly remarkable! Also, just knowing that I can call them at a moments notice and they?ll respond gives me peace of mind.

Tracy and Tallahassee Roofing provided excellent service. Tracy provided a timely estimate and closely monitored the work throughout the tear-off and install. The work crew was prompt, courteous, and made sure they cleaned up materials and nails regularly. Given the scattered rain expected during the installation period, the crew was careful not to tear off more roof than they could re-cover quickly. The new roof looks great and we are completely satisfied.

It could not have gone better. This is a family business, and not just the management. Even the non related crew members demonstrate why this business stays in business...since they are usually not the low bidder. Tracy made the first contact and kept in close charge through the final inspection...his inspection, "My inspections and your approval are all that matters, and there's no way you will be tougher to please."

Tallahassee Roofing Inc were the No. 1 reason why I became an Angie's List member. They had killer ratings and it really held true for me. The experience was very good. They were quick and efficient but they took a great deal of care not to damage my plants - I have a lot of plants and flowers around the house, and they were very careful about covering everything during the demolishing of the old roof. They took a lot of care to not leave any nails or trash behind. They were very careful. The quality of their workmanship is great, and they stand behind what they sell. Initially, when they first covered the roof, I had a leak, and all I had to do was call them and they came back on the same day and fixed it. I think they are very reasonably priced for the quality of the service provided and the type of shingles that I purchased. One very good thing about them is when they give you an estimate, they give you an A, B and C. They give you a basic estimate, they give you a slightly upgraded estimate, and a higher estimate. So you can go top of the line, you can go medium grade or you can go with the basic. In my case there was only $500 difference between each level. So it wasn't hard to decide, well, let's go with the very best stuff for only $1000 more. It was a while from the time that I got my quote to when I heard from them that I was scheduled. I'm sure with roofing there are a lot of weather conditions that are associated with that that allow them to schedule people. It is probably a harder thing to schedule than most.

Because I was replacing a roof that was still functional, there was no time urgency to get the job started. Nevertheless, it was less than two weeks from my signing the estimate until work was begun. Once started, the job was completed in three days. The new roof looks great and apparently works great too. Have had about 2 inches of rain on it now with no apparent leaks or other problems. The only negatives are: Cleanup was not as complete as most other reviews. There was one mangled roofing nail on my front walkway steps, a partial coil of roofing nails (approximately 30 to 40 nails in a coil for nailgun use), metal trimmings from the chimney flashing, caulking from the chimney flashing, and several plastic disks that the roofers use as pads under roofing nails when installing underlayment. I rate the cleanup job as acceptable, good enough that I simply finished cleanup myself without asking Tallahassee Roofing to come back. Also, they have not yet applied caulking to the fascia and soffit where wood was replaced at a valley in the front. Is caulking considered part of the painting process? Painting was not part of the contract.
