Stubbs Roofing Company

I highly recommend Stubbs for your gutter installation. They came and provided a very competitive estimate and did not try to needlessly upsell me on anything. They gave me the facts and pros/cons, and let me decide. They came to do the work when they said they would and completed it when they promised. My gutters look great and are working quite well as we head into Florida's summer weather. Two thumbs up!

Communication was terrible, gutter was installed wrong and was pouring water into the porch. Roof was installed wrong and water leaked into the walls of my bedroom for 11 months. I discovered it when I moved furniture and found the mold and water damage. They fixed the roof but have not dealt with the interior damage. Their communication is terrible, messages are not returned, emails are not answered, information is not provided. I had the work for the interior repairs scheduled twice and both times Stubbs would not let it proceed and I have no idea why. Learn from my mistake, do NOT hire Stubbs Roofing. Hire a company with integrity that knows what they are doing and will communicate with you.

I cannot recommend Stubbs Roofing. After Hurricane Michael dropped a tree on my house, they replaced my roof in February 2019. There were a number of problems, the elbow was not attached to the downspout correctly and every time it rained the water shot into my porch. That had to be redone. The sun tubes I ordered and paid for were not included in my order and the roof was installed without them. It took another 2 months to get that straightened out. Unfortunately I did not realize it but they installed the shingles incorrectly around my skylights - they put the shingles OVER the flashing instead of UNDER the flashing and not a single person on the crew or the supervisors or head guys noticed. It wasn't until I was moving furniture around in the bedroom that I found extensive water damage and black mold. They came out and admitted the shingles had been installed incorrectly and claimed they would take care of all of the damage inside and out. They replaced the shingles and underlayment the next day, but I have gotten nothing but delays, not returned calls, unanswered messages, and everything else regarding the inside repairs. I am breathing black mold and an entire wall of my bedroom is damaged due to their negligence, and they are not responding to me. I have left innumerable messages for the president Dustin Stubbs who has yet to return a single phone call. The vice president Christina Wolcott has been incredibly UNhelpful - not returning phone calls, not responding to emails, flat out lying to me, even telling me that the damage would not have been this bad had I reported it sooner - like somehow this is MY fault. DO NOT USE STUBBS ROOFING!! Learn from my mistake! Hire a company that has integrity and follows through on what they say they will do, or, better yet, hire a company that does the job right the first time so your home and health are not damaged by their incompetence as mine have been.

Everything went smoothly except for after commiting to have the work done I didn’t hear from the salesman for several weeks to get the project moving forward. Once I heard from him I was able to get on their schedule.

It went great . They showed up on time and did a great and quick job at a fair price .

Absolute perfection during the whole process! Handled with professionalism. Stubbs Roofing will be my " go to" roofing company and I will let all my friends know they can trust Stubbs. Destin and Christina kept me updated. Mario and Chris installed the sun tunnels and fixed the roof with a smile. I could not be more pleased. Five stars!

When we purchased to house in 2006, we were told the roof would soon need to be replaced. After putting it off for a number of years we decided to go ahead and start looking to have it replaced. After having a number of estimates we decided to use Stubbs. When Dustin came for the estimate, he was personable and honest about what work needed to be done. The crew showed up on time and worked a day and a half and the project was complete. They were also extra cautious when it came to picking up the nails and was sure the site was clean once the project was complete. We will use Stubbs again for future roofing needs. The experience we had would overall rate as an A+ rating I

I am in North Carolina and they are in Florida, and as far as I can tell from the pictures that they sent me, it looks like they did a good job. There was a leak in the roof and it had to be repaired. I think they did a first class job, and they were very good about informing me about what is going on. I wanted someone reputable and someone I felt comfortable with, and they responded quickly with what they figured it was going to be. I was satisfied. The price was fair. I thought the people were really fair.

We were given assistance in selecting the architectural shingle that we chose. We were able to view a homes in town that had recently been re-roofed with several shingles we liked before confirming our final choice. The re-roofing went smoothly and quickly; it was completed in just about four days
The roof was stripped down to the plywood deck and 4 old air vents were removed. The vent cavities were patched with plywood. The roof was checked for water damaged wood and repairs were made. An underlayment was applied to the roof as well as a special moisture barrier in the valleys where different sections of the roof came together in a flattened and quot;Vand quot; shape. Drip edge flashing was placed around the edge of the roof and the sides of the valleys to support the moisture barrier.
The work was done in a timely manner as we expected. Dustin Stubbs and his wife, Shelia, who managed the office were both very helpful during this work. The surrounding yards were cleaned of nails and debris. We made one minor request after the work was completed. It was taken care of promptly.
We still get occasional compliments on our roof color and texture.

Stubbs Roofing was an absolute pleasure to work with. They came out to my home promptly and did a very thorough investigation as to what may need to be fixed. I needed isolated areas of my roof to be rid of wood rot and then re-shingled. The company gave me a very fair price quote and was quick to make the repairs. During the repairs they discovered some other minor issues, yet they did not take advantage of me by charging a lot more for the additional work. Stubbs Roofing completed the work, which was then verified by a home inspector. Their communication via phone and email was exceptional - they always returned my inquiries very quickly. The level of service they provided is something all roofers should aspire to. I strongly recommend Stubbs Roofing if you want a roofing company that A) will give you a fair price; B) is very timely and reliable on their stated deadline; C) does quality work; D) will not take advantage of you; and E) is very easy to contact and talk to regarding questions or concerns.
