We love the result. It was not cheap, but we knew that when we signed the contract, and believe the price was fair for the quality received. It also took a long time to install, with a crew of just two people working continuously for about 3 months. We understand why, though. Our roof is quite complicated, so nearly every piece had to individually measured, cut, and fitted by Eddie, the crew leader/foreman. We came to respect him as a skilled craftsman, a hard worker, and a warm person. The other people from Streamline were also very friendly, courteous, and competent. We are glad we took their advice and had the new roof installed over our existing shingle roof, rather than first stripping off the old shingles, when we consider how many times it rained during the installation period. They also installed a 1 inch styrofoam later between the two roofs, which provides an even underlayment, as well as some additional insulation and sound deadening. Their follow-through has also been good. After the roof was done, we had a problem with storm-blown water coming into one of our bathroom vent stacks. They came out quickly and fixed it.

Great! The crew of three gentlemen worked hard and tirelessly. They were very kind and respectful. They did a very good job of cleaning up after themselves each day and at the end of the job. They installed a metal roof on my little rental house last year which is how I came to know about them. If I had another house that needed a roof, I would call them yet again! I’m really high with this company and I have recommended them to a number of people and they have been extremely pleased too.  I will give them an “A” on every single category.  They are good with their customer from the beginning all the way through the completion of their job.  They leave the place spotless.  The finished product is handsome to look at and every possible qualification you could possibly want is there.  I have nothing but the very best to say about that company.

It was more expensive than a shingle roof but I figure I'll never need to roof my house again in my lifetime. The roof looks great and the workers were professional. I'm very pleased.

Due to summer rains and a tropical storm, work start was delayed a couple days. First day, four workers showed up and worked until mid afternoon when the heat became stifling. Next three days, the two of the first day workers came around 7:30 a.m. and worked until mid afternoon, depending on summer heat and summer rains. As mentioned, it went a little slower because of the extra soft spots they found. We discussed the roof situation when they took a break and were very helpful in explaining what they were doing. I did a little of the metal trimming clean up on Wednesday just to help them out, but when they finished on Thursday, they cleaned up almost all the visible refuse that construction brings. Workers were hard working, knowledgeable, and efficient, as well as informative and personable. When a small piece of construction materials fell into our bathroom vent exhaust, it stopped our exhaust fan from running. One email to the office, and we had someone here the next day. He fixed the problem, also without charge. We were one summer away from living in a sieve, but now we have a roof that will last longer than we will. It's the last roof we will ever need. On top of that, it looks absolutely fantastic!
I gave only a and quot;Band quot; rating for price because I'm frugal and hate to part with my hard earned money. I wish it were cheaper, but I'd spend it again to get a quality roof. I also gave a and quot;Band quot; rating for responsiveness since I had to make a few emails and phone calls to originate the estimate and scheduling date, probably due to their quality roofing service being in demand.
