Smith's plumbing provides excellent customer service and quality work. The owner went the "extra mile" to be sure I was satisfied.

I contacted Smith Company Plumbing and spoke with Stacy the owner’s wife and asked for a estimate to Have a backflow preventer installed. She gave me the estimate of 975.00. This is what I expected to pay Once our job was completed. I had already called two other plumbers asking for estimates and the Estimate that I received from Stacy was less that the other two plumbers and I read their reviews so I decided to go with Smith Company Plumbing. Their plumber came out and installed the backflow and Charged us an additional 200.00 for something that my husband and I don’t even know what the additional charge was for. I called Stacy at Smith Company Plumbing and explained to her that our Estimate that she gave us was 975.00 to install a backflow but we were charged an additional 200.00 and I wanted to know what the additional 200.00 was charged for. The first thing that Stacy said was our plumber had to tap of the water in the back that goes to your hose bibb. I told her that her plumber didn’t do that because my husband said that we would have to hire an irrigation company to do that. Stacy swears up and down that her plumber did this work and he didn’t. Even on our invoice this was not listed as work their plumber completed. Stacy is very rude and she talks over you when you call in with a problem. If she gives us a quote of 975.00 that is what I expect the bill to be. If it was going to cost more, Stacy should have contacted us for approval to charge an additional 200.00. She never got this approval she just charged it. I asked for a return call from her husband Kenny and she said he would call me tomorrow June 29, 2022.

Garbage disposal repair

Smith Plumbing was very professional, scheduled the appointment, made reminder call before arrival. Assessed the hammer issue and recommended the City check the system prior to any plumbing work. The City repaired the connection at the street and Smith Plumbing came back to repair the water pressure valve on our site of the system. Regarding the leak, arrived that morning, repaired the leak and assessed water damage under the house. All staff knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

This was the second time we used Smith Plumbing and their service is great. Had a garbage disposal installed. Always professional and courteous. Will definitely hire again for all our plumbing needs.

Our contractor used Smith Plumbing in our master bathroom remodel. Our main concern, which is not yet resolved after 4 attempts, is that our free standing tub leaks. They can't seem to figure out why.  We asked for a partial refund and never heard back from the owner. We didn't have any problems with the undersink installation, but they did install one of the bathroom faucets unevenly.  They came back in a timely manner to correct it and put it the same distance from the backsplash as the other faucet. Another issue we had was with the installation of the valves for the shower.  The handles were suppose to be flush with the tile, but they stick out quite a bit. Once the tile was installed there was nothing to be done about it..
We are not pleased with the quality of work that Smith Plumbing does and would NEVER use them again. Neither would our contractor.

The owner of the company has a knack of picking qualified plumbers, or they have one consistent training program. In any event,  I have this company service each of my homes, as a bought and sold, and the quality of the service has never disappointed.

• Needed a new part which had to be ordered.  Once the part arrive (wrong part sent to them initially) they came in a timely manner and did a good job finishing the job.  They were on time and professional.  Would definitely use again.

Went well.  Came out and gave quotes on the work to be done.  Made a recommendation on another item.  Good service and communication.

First they installed a tankless water heater, including running new gas lines (there was existing gas service to house, but previously an electric water heater) and regulators.  Mr. Smith showed up on time for the estimate, gave a fair price ($1,600), and after I agreed, the work was done quickly and well.  I would give an A on this job. 
Following that, I called them back to do a few odd jobs at time-and-materials.   They sent another worker, who made a new leak while doing a poor job of fixing another, suggested I replace a leaky sink faucet without apparently attempting repair, and didn't even attempt several other small jobs, and then invoiced me for two hours of work (I was out of the house while this was going on).  The coupler is a job that would have taken me 15 minutes, and most pros could do in five, and I subsequently fixed the sink faucet for the cost of  a $4.00 cartridge and 20 minutes of my time, so what this guy was doing for two hours is beyond me.    I would give an F on this job. 
Bottom line, they seem to have some capable plumbers and give fair quotes, but they have one worker who just didn't do the job he was called in to do.
