Ethanol is the bane of my existence. Whenever this car sits for more than 4 or 5 days, the fuel breaks down and makes the engine difficult to run. Recently, we were out of town for 2 or 3 weeks. When we got back, the car wouldn't even start.
Someone suggested Seminole Auto Repair because Ygor has a long love affair with Mercedes engines. He diagnosed that one of the problems was a bad mass air flow sensor (this had been an undiagnosed but recurring problem). When that was replaced, it still didn't run right, so he suggested a major tune-up. Ygor agreed that if I ordered the parts (all original Bosch rotors, distributors, plugs and spark plug wiring), he's install them. He also added some fuel drier. Found everything on Amazon. Ygor had everything ready in less than a day, and the car runs like new.
I realize $600 sounds like a lot, but compared to other shops around town that purport to specialize in German cars, Seminole was a bargain.

I brought our Ford Explorer in expecting the worse. Igor and Craig worked on the car for 2 days and found more wrong with it. They loaned me a great car to go out of town so I would not have to rent one. The car took longer than anticipated to fix but the loaner car and 10% discount made more than up for it. The Explorer runs like a new car now.
