Air conditioning would not work; provider responded the same day.

 Provider checked freon, air handler, and electric circuits; thermostat was determined to be non-functioning.

New thermostat was installed and old thermostat was taken by provider for disposal (it contained mercury.)

Provider was prompt, professional, thorough,  and cost was reasonable.

Evertything was great.  My only complaint is they only work in cash or by check can use a credit card.

Billy fixed our old central a/c unit a couple of times but we knew it was time for a new unit. He quoted us a reasonable price, arrived on time and did the installation with no inconvenience to us.  He also checked all of the ducts and made sure everything was in perfect working order.  We would definitely recommend Riverside to anyone looking for fair prices and excellent workmanship.

When pulling the old unit out we found a lot of rust & erosion. (I don't know why he didn't see that back in Dec. and recommend then that we replace the unit. The switch cost us $160.)  Anyway, over all he did a very thorough job installing the new unit. He even upgraded the thermostat with one he had at his shop for no extra charge.  That was nice.  But, this past August 2012, we asked him to give us an estimate on some duct work needed under the house.  We already had someone give us detailed information on the problem, along with pictures, etc. for no charge. We called Riverside AC & Heating. Riverside came at their convenience, 2 weeks after our call, when they were in the area. Which was okay. They barely looked at the situation and gave us a vague bid of $650 to seal ductwork plus any extra expenses for unseen problems.  Then they charged us $85 for nothing.  They did not do any work.  Everyone else we called for bids, did so for free. Riverside did not tell us ahead of time that there would be a fee for this.  We are in the process of trying to settle.  They told us we were good customers but they do not seem to be willing to waive the charge.  We are sending them 1/2 and hope they will be satisfied. We will probably never call them again.

He is honest and responsive. He is thorough and doesn't try to make you buy something you don't need. We have used this service for nine or ten years. He is the nicest guy. He is prompt, reliable, and professional. He is someone you would not be afraid to have in your house.
