Thought a lot about writing this review but I think I owe it to all those out there. I used this clinic because we loved a vet who was here before. It is a good place for little things BUT I say get a second opinion before you trust them for BIG things. My experience:Wrong Diagnosis(cancer) + Hurried Operation + NO post-operative care even though we told them something was going VERY wrong after the operation and brought her in multiple times. That all equaled an early death for our beloved girl who died within 10 days of her treatment at this clinic. SECOND OPINION. SECOND OPINION. SECOND OPINION!

They're an "A." I had fun.

On other visits, they always offer a package deal for shots in order to
save money.  I have seen them for multiple issues like skin rashes,
snake bites, joint problems and other issues.  They are excellent and
very professional.

This is not a single incident – their care has always been very good over the last ten years. Very thorough, very professional.

They are stupendous. They take care of the foster animal for the humane society.

Got me right in with minimal paperwork, did the work and got the results right then.

The vet and his staff are kind and compassionate. They are a good group to work with.

Dr. Guhrt is honest, straight forward, a really good doctor and trust me on this one....I have seen some very poor vets in this town. He is also very fair with his prices....and again trust me on this one I have experienced some gouging vets in this town. He also treated our dogs with care and sensitivity. What a find! Felt I needed to pass this on.

My dog was very ill by the time I found Dr. Guhrt. I spent 6 months up to that point with other vets who could not/would not try hard enough to figure out what was going on. My dog was older and had been sick with no relief for a long time, so I was all the more appreciative of the way Dr. Guhrt and his staff treated him - with kindness and patience and a lot of love. Unfortunately my dog passed away unexpectedly due to complications of his illness, but the kindness they treated him with (and me too) will always stay with me. This is not a "cold" practice where they run people in and out and sock them with a huge bill on the way out the door. Their prices may be higher than at other places, but they earn it. Their facility is clean, smells nice, the waiting room area is comfortable, their equipment is new and top of the line, their hours are convenient and they even have a grooming service on-site. This is the only vet I've taken a pet to where our records were easily located and always 100% correct. Every staff member I have met there from the vets to the part-time technicians was friendly, loved animals and knew their stuff. I really can't say a bad word about these guys. Contrast this with the vet practice who insisted for 6 months that my dog was just "old" and needed baby aspirin once a day, when in fact he was suffering (and I do mean suffering) from a serious illness. Dr. Guhrt and his partner are up to date on current practices and available treatments and it definitely shows. The atmosphere at this practice is very calm and positive.
