Ox Strong Movers

I have used Ox Strong to move on 2 occasions. I loved working with them so much, I had them move my parents as well. Let me just say these guys are extremely professional and courteous. They work fast and very hard and they remain as pleasant as if you're having tea with them. It's just incredible. I've even nicknamed Antwan the "Mozart of moving". He loves doing a good job so much that he even comments on the echo he hears as the house empties. You absolutely must hire these guys and ask for Antwan and D by name!!!!

After today's experience with Ox Strong, I would NEVER use another moving company in Tallahassee. They went above and beyond to make sure our furniture, art, etc. was handled with the utmost care. I changed my mind a couple of times about what I needed moved and they never blinked an eye. They were friendly, courteous, professional and everything arrived in perfect condition. Antwan, Dee and Mike were our movers -- they are THE BEST! And Denise, with whom we worked to book their service, was extremely helpful and very courteous. (Their prices are below what they should be for the excellent service we received!)

This was a wonderful company to work with - Denise was so helpful and accommodating in setting everything up and accommodating our change requests. The price was exactly what I thought it would be. Two other moving companies I spoke with were way overpriced. The day of the move, they were a few minutes late coming from another job, but Antwan and Derek were extremely personable, careful, quick, thorough and patient. They did an amazing job and were so nice to work with on a stressful day. They both have many years of experience and were very mindful of ensuring we were satisfied. Their approach to paperwork was very professional - signing to approve the agreement, loading and delivery phases. After they loaded, they even locked the back and turned the key over to me until arrival. An unexpected surprise was a discount for being a little late. Truly concerned with customer satisfaction!! I would strongly recommend Ox Strong Movers to family and friends, and I would definitely rely on them again! I called about a half dozen companies to find the right one. The owner of Ox Strong Movers was delightful, and her great attitude immediate set her apart. She answered my first phone call and all subsequent calls promptly. She took time to learn about my situation. She gave me a great (truly superb!) price quote, including an estimate of total time and costs involved in the move. She addressed my questions about bonding and insurance, and she provided evidence (which I'd requested) of the company's up-to-date licensing. She also priced out extra insurance coverage for my electronics and other valuables. The team from Ox Strong Movers arrived with a great attitude and lots of energy. They quickly studied the contents of the apartment and moved the furniture first. They moved quickly and took two short breaks (assuring me that I wouldn't be charged for break time...which I wasn't). I made a special request around moving some items to my office and (with the owner's concurrence and very accommodating attitude), they happily obliged. After the move, I notice two minor challenges: some furniture hadn't been fully moved into place against the wall, and a mirror on a dresser hadn't been fully tightened down or the screws were stripped. (It slid between the dresser and the wall when I tried to move the dresser into place.) The "moving the furniture against the wall" thing may have been partially my fault because the guys may have been waiting for my instructions. I'm guessing that they just forgot about this step when they agreed to move a few items to my office. I called the owner about the difficulty of moving the furniture myself (since I'm 5' 4" tall and the furniture is really heavy), and she immediately and graciously apologized on behalf of the company and the moving team. She did this with a sweet attitude about fixing things and without saying anything derogatory about the moving crew. I liked that she was mutually respectful and acknowledged the error without badmouthing the work team. (This is a rare and wonderful quality in business people and it earns my admiration and loyalty. I think people will eventually treat everyone the way they treat anyone.) The owner offered not only to get the guys back out to adjust everything, but also to help me address two items that weren't priced into the original move. Her caring attitude, commitment to excellence, and dedication to customer satisfaction really sealed the deal on my love for this company. I mean, I love, love, love this company!

Smooth no problems.

They were strong and smart, working steadily and packing the truck carefully and efficiently. Not a single thing was damaged, broken, or worse for wear. I have recommended them to friends already and would not hesitate to use them again.

I highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat if I had to relocate.  I took a chance on them, I had never heard of them but found them on Angie's list.  They answered the first time I called - no recording - and the customer service was incredible.  I felt cared for immediately!!!
I have moved more times in my life than I care to remember, and I've used large moving companies like North American and Mayflower, as well as small business movers like Ox Strong.  I have never received better service than I did with them.  The two movers were polite, professional, and punctual!  They NEVER took a break and had all of my contents moved (from two locations) in 2.5 hours in the pouring rain!
Use OX STRONG!

Let me tell you that I used Ox Strong to move my furniture to Leesburg, Florida in 2014.  They were fantastic which is why I called them to load up my daughter's furniture for her move to Fort Myers.  Once again, they were stellar! You cannot go wrong having them move you.

Ox Strong Movers are fantastic.  They showed up on time, were very professional and friendly, make sure my machines were properly wrapped, and ensured my house was protected as they moved my machines.  This is my second time I have used Ox Strong Movers.  I called three movers and they provided the lowest quote.  Pinky's Movers quoted $450 which is outrageous.  This is after the fact that I explained to them I was a disabled veteran living on disability.  There is not need to call any other movers and just go with Ox Strong Movers - they are the best.

I call Ox Strong Movers any time I need things moved.  They are prompt (often they can help me with the moving job the day after I call), professional, friendly, and  committed to getting the most difficult furniture to fit through the tiniest of doors--they try every angle.   I have had them move all of my belongings in the past, but this time they helped move couches within my house and took an armchair to Goodwill for me. 

I could not be happier with move. The Ox Strong movers were courteous, professional and did not waste any time. They called the day before the move to confirm the appointment and the movers also called 20 minutes before arriving. Also priced lower than most of the other local company's and did not ask a hundred questions before quoting a price.

The woman on the phone who gave the quote and arranged the appointment was pleasant and professional. Two men arrived on time and called twenty minutes before to give a heads up. They were both friendly and efficient. They were careful with our items and both properties moving in and out. I would definitely recommend them.

The movers showed up on time and were very polite. Antoine and Derek carefully wrapped all our belongings in pads before the items were loaded onto the truck. They worked hard and executed the move in a timely fashion. They treated our items with care and nothing was damaged. The price was lower than two of the larger moving companies in Tallahassee. I would definitely use Ox Strong Movers for my next move.

This is the second time we have moved our belongings with Ox Strong. I cannot say enough about this excellent moving company. Antoine and Christopher moved us again and they are professional, respectful, careful, punctual and add a calm to the moving exerience so I did not get stressed out.
They moved on incredibly hot days, but did not complain, helped us finish packing and the next day they were in Palm Harbor ready to move the items into our storage units. Not even one item was destroyed. Everything arrived in good condition.
Since these movers are so good (I have moved over 20 times and all over the US), I am going to request they come back down to Palm Harbor and move our belongings into our new home in about 3 months. I will pay the extra bit to have this group of professionals move my things. We will have no others.

Wow - these guys have great reviews, and now I know why. Antoine and Chris came to the house, wrapped up my furniture and moved me in a short period of time. They were pleasant to deal with, and they worked very quickly and got everything there without any problems. I actually had a hard time believing how good the reviews were for these guys, but now I see why they are so highly recommended.

Really happy with these guys. They came over on Monday and packed up the entire house, then came back on Tuesday to move everything across town to the new house. They finished on time and did a great job and were really great to work with. No complaints - and that's saying a lot when it comes to moving! Highly recommend Ox Strong Movers.
