Molly Maid of Leon County

I was going on vacation and my children were going to stay at my house part of the time I was gone. I was going to leave the house spotless but got sick shortly before we were going to leave, so I called Molly Maid to finish cleaning. When I got home from vacation, my house looked like they hadn’t been there. The bathroom floor was filthy, it clearly had not been washed. There was mildew in the master shower. There was dust all through the dining room. The floor of the laundry room had not been swept or washed. There was a large smudge on the powder room door what had been there when I left. The upstairs bathtub and vanity were a little dirty when I left because I had started a deep clean before I got sick. It would have taken me no more than 45 minutes to make it spic and span. The person who was at my house while this two person team was there said the two ladies spent over an hour up there and he finally told them to stop and come downstairs and do some work. The only thing I can tell that they did was sweep the living room. When I complained, after I got home, that I was not satisfied, I was told that they only give a 24 hour warranty. However, they said they would come back and clean the shower and wash the bathroom floor; I told them no thanks.

I was having someone come for a visit and wanted their bedroom and bathroom professionally cleaned. I was able to schedule an appointment for the day before their arrival. The 3 workers arrived promptly, listened to my priorities and got to work. They were very thorough. They cleaned the baseboards, window blinds and the window sills. The tub/shower were especially bright and shiny.

They do a pretty good job.

The cleaning was substandard. I requested a move-in cleaning, and many things were not performed. The shelves in the kitchen cabinets were not cleaned, as I found out when we attempted to unpack our things. I ran a Clorox wipe over the shelves and the wipe was BLACK with dust. They were supposedly here for 2-1/2 hours, so I'd really like to know what they
were cleaning in an empty house that took them that long and I still found things like the cabinet shelves?! Several of the window sills, towel bars in the bathroom, shelves in the closet, and so forth were not touched. There was some type of goopy stuff on the paper towel holder that I found that they cleaned when I walked out of the room. I was charged for the time that I had to go over the deficiencies that I found. The office never got the address right, and then called me and interrupted me in class (adult returning to school) to find out when I wanted the cleaners to come...um, how about the time that I scheduled? Especially considering I warned them ahead of time that I was not to be contacted until after my class time. The girl I spoke with (Shalamar sp?) basically blamed the mix up on me, the first-time customer, saying I didn't give them the address they needed. As if it were not their responsibility to get all needed information before booking the appointment, especially when I said I needed them to clean the rental we were moving into - that I was calling to schedule a MOVE-IN cleaning appointment. I also initially gave the address
information to the online service, who said they would pass this information on to the local office. Shalamar said they were calling in response to the online service's information, anyway! The supervisor that the girl talked to could not be bothered to call me and speak to me about any of these problems. She just said to give me a $20 refund and call it even. My husband was infuriated when
he saw the level of cleaning. We will NEVER use this service again. NEVER!!!!

The team of two did a lot of work and were very good. My wife is quite pleased with their efforts and we have agreed to have the service regularly.

and they did a great job again. I plan on using them on a regular basis.

I have been using Molly Maid for several months. Twice they have double charged for my credit card cleaning. The quality of work is very dependant on which and quot;teamand quot; comes to clean. The last team was fair at best. I will change when I find another service.

I used Molly Maid several times during 2010 with mixed results. I have a 4000 sq ft house and several animals, so it is a fairly large job to clean it. I usually ordered the deep clean for $320. Most of the cleanings were excellent, but some not good. I have not used them since 2010, because the last cleaning fell into this latter category. They were clearly rushed during this cleaning, and I sent them back to wash the base of toilets and pick up trails of dust that they left behind. After they left, I found that they had not washed the floor of the master bath. I know this because I always removed the kitty litter box before they arrived and swept up most of the litter. Some would remain, and this was still there after they left. I had had this team before and always tipped them $10 each, so felt rather bad that they had done such a bad job. I did not report this, as I tend just not to call people back when they don't do a good job.
Their vacuum cleaners were not very good and would not pick up pet hair. I always had them use mine.
I think the problem resulted because I had just used them two weeks before and argued for the two week rate, rather than the deep clean rate. This seemed to cause them to be in a hurry. I have not used them since, but probably would try them again in an emergency..

They are awesome! They are very flexible and will work with you if you need additional work done.

They are very prompt and if my cleaning day comes on a holiday they call me to reschedule; I don't have to call them. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

I am very happy with them. They do a really good job and are very unobtrusive while they are here. They are accommodating and I have found their work to be consistent. They tell me what day they are coming, but they usually do not have a specific time.

I had them out three times to clean my house. They did a decent job cleaning but every time they came out they broke or ruined something. I had an emerald green bath mat splattered with bleach and they dropped a sculpture on my floor and the tile chipped. They never had the same person come out. They offered me a free cleaning but I didn't accept it.

Overall, ok work but not worth $100. for 1.5 hrs. They had one team that was excellent, but they could not guarantee them coming each time. I was getting the help once a month, and they did a "fall cleaning" the first time, with regular cleaning afterwards. Most of the cleaning after the first time was rather hit and miss. Some things were never dusted, or missed and then gotten next visit. I was not happy paying so high for less value as time went on, so now looking for someone more reasonable and consistent with their quality of cleaning.

Maids were competant but changed often. Obviously used more to office than house cleaning. Somewhat superficial in their cleaning. Expensive, we've since found better and cheaper cleaners.

Wonderfully! In two hours the 2 ladies from Molly Maids cleaned the 12000 square foot house from top to bottom - including the refrigerator and stove/oven! AMAZING! They were quiet, but professional, courteous, honest and worked HARD. Will definately use this service again.

We were moving out of our apartment, and wanted to get as much of our deposit back as we could. we were pressed for time, so we called Molly maid to do an estimate. Their person came out, did the estimate, and gave us a price. We scheduled for 1pm, to give us time to clear out...the cleaning crew showed up at 11:30, thankfully they understood, and moved onto their next appointment once they were told. At 2:30pm they returned, and started, they were professional, and the trio quickly did their work, working around us as we finished clearing out. by approximately 4 they were done. the place looked better than it did when we moved in.
