Services we offer
Mahan Animal Clinic offers veterinary animal care, annual vaccinations, exams, and preventative medicine in addition to sick pet exams and medication. We preform spay and neuter as well as other basic surgeries. Dr. Pliskin also sees exotic animals including birds, rodents, reptiles, ferrets, etc. We also have boarding for our clients and offer baths and nail trims.
Services we don't offer
Mahan Animal Clinic does not offer professional grooming services, including hair trims. We do not offer specialty services like ultrasound, intensive surgery, etc.

The Dr. met me at the door and introduced him self and offered to take the crate from me. After in the room talked to me about each cat at great length. He was very caring toward what they were going threw as well as us as pet owners. The one got her annual shot she needed. The other did not need shots but he did check her out. Made some recommendations for each of them. I was very please with him of how he handled everything with out pressure. When we left we were told if we needed to talk to him again just call and he would talk to us.I was looking for a place to feel good about taking my cats to and I found it. Would recommend him to anyone who wants to feel good about their animal care without major expense or wait time. Even the staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

My family has used the services of Dr. Pliskin for over 10 years. We have four cats at home and we trust him for all their needs. I am always able to make same day appointments. The staff is extremely compassionate. Dr. Pliskin has a great love for all animals ( they were treating a possum in the next room ) and is not only professional but has the best attitude and a great sense of humor.
Our last visit was this week for a special needs cat (neuro-muscular disease) and the staff was so gentle. I was in and out within 40 minutes and was able to have my favorite cat seen within 1 hour of making the appointment. I was and quot;on-calland quot; that day so timing was everything. Dr. Pliskin has also offered discounts if certain problems are recurrent. What a guy !! What a team !!

Dr. Pliskin was sitting in a chair in his waiting area as we arrived and greeted us from there. His comfortable and casual demeanor put us at ease immediately. He also connected with the dog and escorted us to an examining room. His assistant came with us and also made us feel very comfortable only doing what was needed to assist the doctor for the exam. He took time to listen to our concerns and to hear about the dog's history. He was genuine, and thorough yet gentle. He urged us to call him at home if we needed him.
Postscript. That same evening our dog had some kind of falling event and we called him. He immediately came into his office and re-examined our dog. We will definitely return.
