When you call Joel Foy Electrical Service, we are committed to providing a quality product at a fair price. Over the past 15 years I have been providing electrical services personally to the Tallahassee area. As demand has grown I have carefully hired employees that share my values of customer service and quality work. We are fast, reliable and prompt. We do new installs and repairs of anything electrical such as motors, lighting (indoor, outdoor and landscape), installing new circuits, or repairing existing. We can take care of your home inspection repairs and install lightening protection. We work on commercial, industrial, and residential properties and my trucks are well stocked with materials so we don't have to leave and get parts for your job saving you time and money! We can locate underground lines and repair them or locate them before you dig so we don't have to repair them. I would love to look at any remodel or new construction job you have and give you suggestions to optimize your lighting or a free estimate. I am SO impressed with Joel Foy's electrician JACOB’s (assistant Michael) work in my home, tracking down non-obvious faulty wiring and shorts. JACOB is professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with! As a customer who needed an evasive problem solved, I felt well-treated and understood. I am very appreciative. He takes care of all the job estimates personally then he sends crews out to actually do the work after he has talked it with you and inspect it all out. He helps me plan, changes my lighting and he advices me about wirings. It wasn't just that he was there to do what I ask him to do, he actually took on my projects like it was his own. He has his people do a great job and it was over many months, actually.

Joel Foy is very professional and nice to work with. He made valuable suggestions regarding my preferences for outdoor lighting and The bathroom fan. An additional visit to install the fixtures at the front door was needed since they were shipped after his first visit. I have recommended him to friends and will definitely use his company again.

Bought coupon from Angies for the first hour, and paid the extra online later after the service. Joel came for an estimate first, then sent two guys to my home the other day. They worked for more than two hours. One guy replaced the four security lights outside, and the other fixed all the problems of the outlets and dimmers inside. They did pretty good job, especially the one inside. He is nice and professional.

Called Joel based on reviews here on Angie's list.  FYI the phone listed here is incorrect.  Found the correct phone number on Joel's website.  Left a voice mail and he returned my call within the hour. Told him what I needed and Joel gave me an estimate and we setup a time.  The technicians were right on time, very friendly, and went right to work.  The work was completed quickly and professional.  The nice surprise came when I received the bill and it was less than the estimate. I will certainly call Joel again for any electrical work I need.

Joel was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. He consulted with me on each part of the job and Andrew was there promptly, working well with my landscaper to time the installation. The work is very good and they used very good parts. I could not be more pleased and will definitely call Joel Foy whenever I need electric work done!

the fluorescent lights went out in our guest bath.  Even though we changed out the bulbs, it still didn't work.  I called and spoke with Joel.  he told me he could get someone out that same afternoon and he did.  My husband was there and told me that all went well.  I came home from work and viola!  I had lights in the guest bath once more!!!
Also, I had expected that they would want to be paid on the spot (since we were new customers), however, the workman told my husband they would bill us.  I received the bill and sent the check out today.  Highly recommended.

Called provider, informed them of Angie coupon. Set up date & told them I had the tiner already. Showed up on time & date, was told I had the wrong timer. rescheduled the date & I bought the correct one. They came back out & installed it. they did not complain that it took two trips. Great jod... can't ask for much more.

The experience turned out fine. They were able to come out right away, they were able to perform the service that I needed, and I saved money that was the key to everything. I had to pay for the parts, and they provided the labor, and now we don't have to worry about the plug running from under the door. They did exactly what I asked them to do. I would use them again, because I am sure they are not making any money through the big deals, and the idea is to build relationships.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. He did a great job. There were no problems. They were just changing from one color to another. I spent an additional $150. It was 2 1/2 hours and it was $95 an hour. They were very good.

Joel came out as soon as I was available to do an inspection and estimate. The time estimate was spot on as was the price quote. He was able to schedule the installation within days of the estimate. Technicians arrived promptly and got straight to work. They made sure to consult me on all decisions before installation and as the installation was progressing. They were quick and very knowledgeable. All of the work they performed looks great and works perfectly. I would highly recommend this group!

The job was done very well with no additional charges, and Joel himself stayed to supervise and help clean up at the end.  The work is perfect, and I have since hired Joel's team to rewire my kitchen.  I look forward to having him as my go-to-electrician for a long time.
