Yes, I recommend this pro
Not sure about the whack job who gave him an F, but this man either responded by text or phone within a reasonable amount of time considering he was on either a skid steer or laying asphalt. When it wasn’t pouring he and his crew were there working. They did an exceptional job and went above and beyond my expectations.

The driveway was paved twice by Kelly.  It crumbled apart the first time almost immediately and it is crumbling apart again.  He blamed it on the poor asphalt the first time and claimed he got a bad batch.  He is impossible to reach and lies.  We had to resort to an attorney after the first paving to get contact.  The attorney had a hard time finding him.  It took almost year to get him to redo it.  Don't even think of using his services.
We paid him the last installment 1/25/2013 for the first paving.

We scheduled a time to meet someone from the company for an estimate to pave our driveway, and no-one showed, nor did I receive a phone call.  I called to find out where they were, and was told that he had a flat tire and would come the next day.  We waited again the next day and no-one showed (again).

A job that should have taken 2 days at most ended up being 5 and the job still was not finished. Our driveway is exposed aggregate. Kelley poured plain concrete and then attempted to tamp gravel into the mix. The gravel will not stay and it is unevenly spread. After 5 days of having his eqipment block the road in our neighborhood and his still not finishing the job satisfactorily, we asked him to leave. We had given him $800 after 3 days of work to cover the cost of materials. We didn't not give him any more money. He left a mess in the yard-- piles of broken concrete, wooden forms still on the poured area, etc.
He is a slippery one who can talk a big talk but definitely cannot do the work.

Response from Jack Kelly Services, LLC

"FACT: THIS JOB WAS NOT COMPLETED AND WE WERE NOT FULLY PAID FOR THE WORK. HOW WE VIEW THIS COMPLAINT: We have never contracted or consulted with a [removed member name], but we did contract with a male named [removed member name] that lives at this address. We are unaware of the relationship between [removed member name]. Our records indicate the work was contracted for $1,200.00 to remove broken areas of concrete, remove roots, and patch the area. [removed member name] was informed prior to the work that it is impossible to exactly match his decades old existing concrete with the new concrete. I can only assume that [removed member name] failed to convey this fact to [removed member name]. She was very upset that it did not match. We were told to STOP the job and leave. While we were installing the concrete, a relative of [removed member name], who happens to be a competing contractor showed up and insisted to "take over the job", thus assuming all responsibility of the outcome. We have completed many jobs in this area and many jobs over the years. We must say that we've never experienced this type of treatment on a job site. We did observe this "relative contractor" replacing trim board on this house without first removing wood rot. Is possible that this home was invested in to "flip"? Homeowners that are planning to be in a home forever would remove wood rot to before cosmetic overlays are installed. BUYER BEWARE of purchasing this property in the future. Contractors BEWARE of contracting any services at this address. We drove by our work and it looks good. We encourage any neighbors to inspect the work and see for yourself. We do good work and it is guaranteed by our contract. Perhaps the homeowner ran out of funds to pay the balance? Possibly."
