they charged us 85.00 for an estimate they gave us an estimate of 241.00 we waited at least two weeks and had to call them to see if they had gotten the part yet they came after we called and repaired the refrigerator but they charged us twice for the repair i called them and they said that they would issue us a refund for the 241.00 overcharge but they never refunded us the money

diagnosed as a refrigerant leak. Recommended to buy another refrigerator.

He did a very good job and was relatively inexpensive. He was quick and very professional.

When I called John about my tenant's issue with the refrigerator running but not cooling, he said he could be there in about three hours. According to the tenant, he was able to repair the refrigerator quickly and saved a frig full of food. John was kind enough to invoice me, as I live in another city, and did not bother my tenant about payment. I appreciate his quick response and ability to get the job done efficiently and inexpensively. Thank you!

CALLED INITIALLY AND DESCRIBED ISSUE. HE SAID IT WAS PROBABLY THE VALVE AND WOULD ORDER IT. CALLED NEXT DAY TO SAY IT WAS ORDERED AND WOULD BE A COUPLE OF DAYS. CALLED 3 DAYS LATER THAT VALVE WAS IN AND SCHEDULED TIME NEXT DAY TO INSTALL. ARRIVED ON TIME, DID WORK AND EXPLAINED WHAT AND WHY HE WAS DOING. CLEANED UP AND AROUND THE LAUNDRY AREA AND WAS VERY CORDIAL. PRICE WAS APPROPRIATE FOR THE WORK.

The freezer portion of my refrigerator stopped freezing.  I called John at J&B and he came the same day.  He repaired the fridge, however it didn't resolve the problem.  He came back the next day about 2 hours after I called and he rechecked everything and realized that the coils just weren't working and recommended replacement of my 16 year old fridge instead of repair.  He refunded part of the cost of the original repair, so I ended up paying for just the service call.  Overall, I found him to be very professional and prompt.  Would recommend him to others and would use him again.

I called on a Wednesday; John was able to meet me first thing Friday morning. Turned out the problem was in the lid safety switch. Although he said nothing initially he went straight to the problem and had it remedied in less than an hour. I sensed he had a pretty good idea what the problem was from my description of the symptoms. He pulled the front panel off and had it figured out directly. I was glad not to have to move the heavy machine full of water around nor to have to pump the water out with a separate pump. Price was $75 for the first hour and (I think) $50 for each additional hour. But he was easily done within an hour. Price is fair given his initial cost for getting to the location and moving to another when he's done.
I used John for a refrigerator problem (Whirlpool side-by-side) about a year ago. Freezing compartment defrosted overnight and I had water and thawing food coming out my ears. I tinkered with a few possible remedies without success. I started calling around in the afternoon and got passed from one repair service to another. Finally I got to John late in the afternoon. He said he could be there about 8 pm. He showed up as promised and had it repaired in less than an hour. Again, I sensed he had the problem diagnosed simply from my description. He immediately got into the filter indicator reset switch. I had attempted to reset the red indicator light in the open doorway without success. He opened it up and reset it in some other way. He told me it might be good for a while but would eventually need to be replaced. Again, cost was the $75 first hour rate.
John also has a knack for stories. Both times he has ended the service call with a humorous story from his life experiences. Makes you want to do business with him again.

The Technician first checked to make sure there was no other cause before replacing the computer and charged only for the service call and the part.

I phoned and left a message first thing in the morning and received a prompt call within a couple of hours and he came out to the house within a few hours and diagnosed the refrigerator problem very quickly. He explained the situation, told me the heating element for the stove was in stock in town and the heater defroster for the refrigerator was being overnighted and he would call me when he had the parts. He called me in the late afternoon and told me the parts were in and could he come by first thing in the morning and he was here and completed the job within 90 minutes. He explained everything along the way, was courteous and very professional. I would recommend him to others and would use his services again.

Price was reasonable, he worked quickly, and his repair solved the problem. He also saved us a bunch of money from food that would otherwise have spoiled. He also candidly shared a list of other repair services he trusts and explained each man's specialties. Great information. I wrote it all down on his business card and attached it by magnet to the refrigerator.
