Rex and Sam were very thorough. They pointed out problems, documented everything very well, and also took the time to explain any nuisances about the house. They also got on the roof and in the attic. The following morning, we received the very detailed 43 page report.

We actually used Rex Anderson with Homeguard Inspection twice, the first time he actually did TOO good of a job and found all kinds of disasters with the home we were trying to purchase, which had been concealed by the seller. Luckily for us, Rex took his time and did a detailed inspection, saving us from the financial pitfall that would have befallen us if we had continued with that transaction.
We were very happy with the thorough and detailed report, complete with many pictures (we couldn't be there in person), that we made sure to give him a call when we found a new property we were interested in. Rex did a great job with a quick turnaround time, and I trusted his opinion on the house. We closed on, and have been happy with the house ever since.
I would recommend Homeguard Inspection to anybody, and if we are ever in the market for another home, I will gladly utilize his vast wealth of knowledge yet again.

Rex did a great job, doing a very thorough report with many pictures of the issues since I couldn't be there for the inspection because of the distance. He explained the issues very well, and gave me ballpark numbers on the costs of fixing the problems. He is very easy to speak with, and is able to explain the issues in plain English so we know the extent of the problems. I would recommend him to anybody.

Rex Anderson of Home Inspection and Consulting Inc. arrived on time and the inspection took about 2 hours. I was present during the inspection and Rex answered questions throughout the inspection. I climbed his ladder several times to look at what he was doing and that didn't bother him.When completed he emailed me a detailed report with pictures of Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, roofing, appliances. The inspection reveled only minor issues which the seller corrected.
Rex presented a professional demeanor through out the process.
I also opted for the Radon test which cost $100.
Home Inspection was $310.
The only part I faulted was the re- inspection after the seller completed the repairs he charged $125.00. this could have been argued and or declined however I was more concerned with the repair results than the minimal cost.
