No communication. Does not respond to emails phone calls or messages. We ordered blinds and shutters, paid half up front and didn't hear anything for 6 months. Finally got ahold of him to setup install and got stood up. The second time he finally showed up, but two shutters where the wrong size and one was the wrong color. I can handle delays and errors as long as they are communicated and corrected. John promised to correct the mistakes so I agreed to pay the remaining balance. Big mistake! We never heard from him again.

Worst experience ever. I have wanted plantation shutters my whole life and we are 22 weeks into a disaster of a project. I can't even stand to look at them there are so many problems glaring back at me. If you get sold on the line that John Lilly is "OCD, extremely detail orientated and loves this work" don't be fooled. The work is anything but that. John has been out at least 4 times to fix issues and there are countless more problems. We will no longer let him back in our home because he was incompetent from the start and is unable to make it right. Even if he gives me my money back, I will have to completely start over but now my paint and drywall will be torn off my walls from where his "work" had to be undone. This man could absolutely care less about doing a good job. He will throw your shutters up and walk out the door, not looking back or caring what they look like. So completely disgusted with this company.

We got some shutters from them recently.  It was a month ago that we did this.  The main thing was there was some confusion on billing but it all got squared fine and about to do a repair on one of the blinds which had some faulty, there wood, they warped and they're replacing the blind and I had to call them back on how they did a modification they installed so they wouldn't slide back and forth.  It was like $800.

It went real well. They came to my house to take measurements and to see what I wanted. He made a suggestion that saved me a couple of hundred dollars. I was all for that. I couldn't get off of work so he came later in the day (6PM) to install the shade. He policed the area he worked and left. I'm completely satisfied
