HEINZ NURSERIES

The whole team, from Bert the designer and team supervisor, to the landscapers and the masons were great. All were efficient, professional and easy to deal with. Although there were weather delays and supply chain issues, Bert kept us up to date on plans and ensured the work progressed and was executed well. We have high standards and Heinz met or exceeded all of our expectations. We're very happy with their work and will use them again.

Heinz Nursery is the best. We went and picked out our tree and shrubs and they were able to recommend the best time of year to plant them. They came out two different times to put the tree in first and then the 30 bushes. Wonderful quality of plants and great service. Thanks Bert for all you did for us!!

Quick response & professional. Worker created a plan and provided appropriate plants for the area and use.

Not very good. Sod is dying and I am getting no response. Called their competition to look at the sod and they confirmed some of the sod is defective. Steer clear of these people.

I drove out to Heinz Nurseries to see their product and to talk to someone at the nursery about landscaping consultation and drainage services.  It took me a good ten minutes to get someone to come to the desk in the Nursery office.  I was not able to talk to anyone, the gentleman took my name and number with the information I gave him about services I desired.  It is now close to two weeks later, and I never did hear a word from them.  I contacted another business in the area, and got a response in less than 24 hours.

II called ahead to see if they had centipede sod in stock.  The reported that they would be receiving a load the next morning.
I reserved one pallet and was able to pick it up the next morning just as promised.  They loaded the sod promptly and I was on my way.

Wallace at Heinz Nurseries was very easy to work with.  He returned my calls promptly, gave me an estimate on work quickly, killed and took out my diseased centipede sod, put in new zoysia sod, and followed up on growth of new sod.  There were a few delays due to weather and the grading of the lot took more time than anticipated.  It has been 3 months and the grass looks great.  Overall, I was very pleased with the Nursery and felt I got a great grass at a fair price.

They were very responsive as far as the time we used for what was sceduled . They gorw their own plants and so the quality of plants are very good and the staff are very knowledgeable in what they do. They were very timely and responsive to any follow up questions that you had. before you could make a commitment and are very good at planning for whatevre you need.

They delivered the sod on time, but for one pallet they would not deliver the sod to the area of the yard where we needed it. We found out after the delivery that we if would have ordered one palet and one piece of sod they would have put the sod in the area of the yard we wanted it. That information would have saved us a lot of work.

They arrived on time for the most part (they started an hour later than expected, but updated me on the change), the 2 men who did the work were very friendly and professional and made sure they asked me if I had any specifications about how I wanted the new plants spaced out, as well as being happy to answer all my questions about follow-up care for the plants and which fertilizers I had on hand were appropriate for the new plants. They kept the work area very clean, and both areas looked wonderful. The price paid involved the cost of all plants, the pinestraw and the labor to remove all the rocks and plants in the planter area and planting of the new plants. All said and done, it took them only about 3 hours to complete everything, but I couldn't say exactly because they actually did not inform me when they left. I had been going outside every so often to photograph the work being done for our own records, but when I went out the last time, I realized they had finished and left. This is the only complaint I have for them, because it turned out we needed 3 more gardenias to fill in the rest of the space (we under-estimated how many we did). However, when I called them to let
them know, Bert was very accommodating and said he'd be there first thing next morning with the 3 more plants, and he planted them himself. He did not charge us any additional labor charges for that either, since they had not verified with me before they left the previous day; just the cost of the 3 additional plants. Also, they were willing to price-match on the plants with any local nurseries as well! All said and done, we would definitely use them again for any landscaping or yard-work needs we have.

Overall very responsive and I would use them again.

I have nothing much to say about them. They did their job well and their staff are friendly and professional. The quality of their work is also okay.
