I began taking my vintage VW to Furrin Auto about a year ago when I started driving her again. She had been sitting idle for about 23 years and they helped get her running again. This recent visit to Furrin however was only for a tune-up. I regularly have them check valve adjustment, change oil, etc.  Mike, the mechanic who works on the vintage VWs, has years of experience. I have always felt like they are thorough and experienced in all the work I have had them do for me and highly recommend them.

completely wonderful experience....very prompt and costs were extremely reasonable for a car that is renowned for ridiculous repairs.

It went fine. The shake was gone after they rotated the tires.

I had had a difficult time getting my VW serviced in Tallahassee until I started using Furrin Auto. They are really do an excellent job for reasonable prices. They do not attempt to talk me into unnecessary service expenses. For example, I had a sticking trunk latch. Another service center thought a $300+ repair was needed. Furrin Auto suggested a squirt of WD-40 - which worked fine. They seem genuinely on board with my in tention to keep this car running for at least 200,000 miles. At 100K it's doing fine.I've tried everyplace else and concluded that this is THE place to go for VW service in Tallahassee.

They are friendly. I've been using them for years. They do quality work. They are good people. I would recommend them.

The car was riding rough and after the repair and money spent, the car was in no better shape and the problem was not resolved. The check engine light was on when we brought it in and came back on shortly after leaving.They didn't apologize or offer to fix it, they just said maybe there is a different repair needed.

I've been going there for 15 years. I definitely like them. Their price, quality, and professionalism are great. I will continue to use them in the future.

This service call was for my son's Volvo 940. He had belts that had cracked and needed replacing, they did a 30 point check because he has been driving around the state on interviews and an oil change. Also they replaced ball joints on the front end and all that it implies as the steering had gotten kind of wacky.

Every time I bring my car in - someone greets me immediately and rarely does anything take them away. You know if the phone rings and they are talking to you - they don't take the call - they let someone else get the phone. They give you undivided attention - which I really like. If need be they will walk out to your car and discuss what is going on and what you think is problem. They are good at listening. They will offer suggestions on what they will check or what may need to be done. Give you an estimate in writing which you have to sign or get a verbal ok from you on any increases to what you understand is being done.

If you need a ride - they will bring you wherever you need to go - no matter how far it is. Now if I could just get them to pick me up!

I've always felt that everyone in the shop really cares about you as a person not just as a means to making money for the shop. There have been times when my car was making a funny noise and I pulled in to their location and one of the shop guys have listened to the noise - made an adjustment to something - stopped the noise and sent me on the way - NO CHARGE! Now when does that happen anymore?
