I cannot recommend Mr. Strickland highly enough. His responsiveness, professionalism and quality of his work is outstanding. If you call anybody else for this type of work, you have made a big mistake.

Four years ago he did my driveway.  He did my patio this time.  I had Mr. Strickland do some concrete work when we got the house and then I had him come back and do the patio. I referred him to other people and he has done work for them too. There were some problems, but they were not his, they were the company that got the concrete. The weather was a little difficult to work with last year, it has been this year too. He knows his stuff. The concrete company that he uses, I wouldn't give them an A. They didn't mix the concrete right, but that's not Tom's problem, it was the concrete companies problem.  We had a problem with the cement, but the company fixed it.  He preformed like he said he was going to do.  I have referred him and the people that used him, liked him too.

We were very pleased with Mr. Strickland's work. The job went as he described, was efficiently completed, and done for a very fair price. Thanks to his work, we now have a driveway that does not hold water when it rains and no longer has cracks or crumbling from tree roots.

Good job.  Work done exactly as discussed, exactly on budget, and exactly on time.

I cannot say enough good things about the work done. I needed patio repair of a patio that had been neglected for 20 years and cracked by oak tree roots. Most of the patio had to be removed which was done in a day and a half. Some of the patio had to be replaced with new concrete and some was OK as it was. All of the work was completed in three days as promised. The finished product was much better looking than I had imagined it would be. That's because he did more preparation and finishing than I expected he would. I would have been OK with less but the company owner, Thomas Strickland wanted to do a job that he could be proud of and he did. I will call this company if I need patio or concrete work in the future and would freely recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Strickland answered the phone on my first call. He quoted a price, showed up promptly, and completed the job with excellence. He even did a little extra without additional charge.. He and his helper were very professional, courteous, and polite. I am very pleased with his service and highly recommend him.

This is my second time using Mr. Strickland as I was so happy with the driveway he poured at another home of mine. The driveway this time was a cracked single wide driveway and sidewalk that when originally installed by the builder of our house, was sloped very poorly so that I was not able to get a large cargo trailer up my driveway. I spoke to Mr. Strickland about how I wanted the driveway to be sloped and let him work his magic. As with the driveway at our other house, this driveway looks beautiful and my trailer fits up it perfectly with the new slope. Mr. Strickland is very professional and many of my neighbors complimented he and his work crew during the job. Even more have complimented the beautiful new driveway we have now. Should I ever need another driveway, sidewalk or patio poured, Mr. Strickland will be the first one I call.

Mr. Strickland arrived on time to give us an estimate and completed the work as scheduled. Mr. Strickland is very professional, pays attention to details, and makes sure things are done the right way. Reasonable price. Hard working crew. Awesome job !

Update : There are some rough spots on the patio that Mr. Strickland is taking care of it for us. I appreciate his readiness to address any issues/problems that we have.

I called Mr. Thomas Strickland to give me an estimate on removing a batched concrete job that some other so called concrete company did on my property four years ago and poured another concrete slab. Thomas gave me an estimate of $$$$ to remove old concrete and haul it off. He came back two days later with all the equipment needed to do the demolition and proceeded to bust up concrete.

The next day a construction dumpster was dropped off out front of my house and Thomas came back with a helper and removed the old concrete. I went to look at his work he was doing and noticed that the old concrete he busted up had no metal or rebar in it, that the other company said they put in. The next day Thomas came back and framed out the patio and installed rebar and wire fence without me asking for it, right then an there I was so grateful that I found him on Angie's List and that I finally got the real professional I was looking for.

My wife and I started thinking about all the concrete projects we could think of for around the house that he could do. We ask him for more estimate’s on other jobs that we thought of ( 6'x8' patio, 4'x15' sidewalk). The price was right and we gave him those jobs as well. Mr. Thomas did a beautiful job on all projects and we were very pleased, all in all total bill came to $2375.00.

He was very busy when I called to schedule, but he called a week earlier than promised. He showed up on the date he said he would. He removed a basketball goal and tree stump to level the area. He was very attentive to detail in pouring/leveling, and accommodating the lay of the ground. Very pleased w/ the work.

There were permitting delays not caused by Mr. Thomas, however he was very flexible and accomadating. He was allways on time and in contact. As soon as I had resolved the permit issues, he finished the slab.

Mr. Strickland was great. He came out when scheduled and completed all the work that day. He was able to repair several broken parts of my concrete driveway in a way that looks good but didn't require me to replace the whole section of concrete. Would use again with no worries.

Economical Concrete Works came the next day to give me an estimate. They did a good job, honest, and arrived on time to do the work. I thought they were fair on the price. I'm hard to work for because I'm right there. I wanted it smooth and they made it smooth. I have nothing but good stuff to say about them. I have other pouring jobs and I will call Economical Concrete Works in a heartbeat.

.Arrived on time and completed work the same day. Did a great job for a very reasonable price. After one year, there are no cracks and everything is fine.

Mr. Strickland asked to come a day earlier than quoted, which was no problem.
Started very close to time promised, worked all day by himself to accomplish quoted task.
Only glitch was cement truck showed up 2 hours later than requested by Mr. Strickland, but he stayed until job was finished to my extreme satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and would call him again when needed.
