It went very well. They had big rooms where all 3 of our dogs could board together. Lots of exercise outside in large fenced yards. These people really care about dogs. It shows!

This was the second time we've boarded "Sophie" our small, 2 year old, 7 pound Yorkie. Each stay was 3-4 nights. The first time, we were very nervous about leaving her because she was so small and young, and had never been boarded before. We were encouraged by the owner's to visit the facility prior to booking a stay, which we did. It is definitely out in the country but don't be put off by the long dirt road in. The facility has an office, and a large heated and air conditioned building with large kennels which accommodates one dog or several "family" dogs and is very clean. They provide raised beds, toys etc. or you can bring your own. They also have a large shaded space for individual outside "play yards" which allowed dogs to be outside several times a day, rather than caged and walked at specific times. These play yards were separated so that the small dogs were not in with larger breeds unless they were a family group. Sophie, loves other dogs, so she liked being able to view the other dogs, but not be intimidated by them. What we particularly liked was the availability of the 24 hr. dog cam in each kennel, which allowed us to web view Sophie while we were traveling. I think based on the web cam, the first visit for Sophie was stressful for her, but she had never been left before. On the second visit she seemed more eager to be there, and was much more calm on the web cam when we checked in on her. We do not often have the need to board Sophie because our children are usually available to babysit, but we would definitely use the facility again if we had the need. It was much better than being in a veterinarian's cage all weekend.
