It was Excellent. The new location at 315 Beard St in Tallahassee is easy to find between 5th and 6th Avenues off the Thomasville Road just north of the split from North Monroe Street. The studio and facilities are in a converted single family dwelling, and free parking is available onsite in the driveway. I have never worked with a photographer like this before, so I checked their web site and then called them with a handful of questions. Elizabeth answered all my questions clearly. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Dina was very personable but thoroughly professional. We started off with a chat about things in general and then on what my objectives and concerns were. After I had changed into my suit, she worked me through several poses in her studio, talking me through multiple exposures, which I needed because as a rule I do not smile readily or broadly. Afterward Elizabeth showed what seemed like 20 shots Dina had taken. It may have been more. I winnowed it down to two. Dina keeps on file the very high resolution originals for all the poses that have been bought in any format, so I bought low resolution images of those two poses. The low-res poses will be suitable for things like LinkedIn if they are not modified. I requested expedited handling because I am pursuing something urgent, and they were emailed to me later that afternoon. The following Monday I decided I wanted a high resolution copy of one of them for cropping. Anthony, who is a portrait photographer there himself and also does all the editing and processing of the studio's images, was most pleasant and responded promptly. It was actually fun and fully successful, and I will happily recommend them to my family and friends.

Family Holiday photos and Christmas cards. Very good quality - very happy with the final photos and cards.

It was OK. The time went by fast and our children were not 100% cooperative. We had small children at the time, a four year old, a two year old, a six month old. Children that young can be unreliable in a photo shoot and it can get frustrating, which is not the fault of the photographer. Dina was patient and had a few tricks to get our kids to look at the camera. When we came in to view the photos, we did select one to purchase, but only one. We actually bought the photo shoot on a groupon, so it wasn't a bad deal. I knew the photos would be sold separately and wouldn't be cheap, but I was completely shocked when I saw the price list. The prices far exceeded what I had expected to pay....it was even significantly more expensive for a black and white print (which I thought could be done with the click of a mouse???....Maybe there is more to it than I am aware of???) They tried to sell us the and quot;realand quot; pictures of our kids crying, us parents looking a bit frazzled. OK....those are kinda funny...but I asked if they were the same price....and of course they were. I thought, and quot;Well, heck, I can take bad pictures of my family....I'm not dropping a large amount of money on that.and quot; And lastly, the pressure is on because any photos not selected for purchase during your viewing session will be deleted. Any that you do purchase will be saved in the archives, but you can't revisit the proofs in your own time and decide privately or later. Dina Ivory does have some absolutely beautiful photography if you have the money to afford her. Our family has found good value and a great service in another local photographer.

I needed to get several professional photos of myself taken and to buy the copyrights to them. Because of the fantastic quality of the work Dina performed and the friendlyness and competence of her staff, I knew I could start and end my search with Dina Ivory Photography. I called and wanted an appointment for the sitting as soon as possible and Dina's staff remembered me and my children, as did Dina and got me in very quickly. Going to Dina's studio was, and still is, a pleasure. My late wife, kids and I considered Dina and her staff as personal friends and my kids and I still do I saw the proofs right after the sitting and chose the four I wanted with help from Dina's staff. The finished photographs were prepared and ready for me on time and at the fee quoted to me. I am a very satisfied customer and can be counted on to be back whenever Dina's services are needed.

She took some excellent pictures, but I was looking for something a bit more creative.

I was really pleased with the service! Dina is very patient and works incredibly well with children. The photos she took of my daughter are wonderful, and I would definitely consider going back to her in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Dina. She's very professional and does awesome work. There no baby she can't make smile! Some people may think her services are little pricey, but she's definitely worth every dime!
