Mr. Dender was prompt and professional in his initial meeting and with his estimates for each section of work to be done.
All work was done timely, done well, and at a reasonable and the quoted cost.  We had an unexpected plumbing problem related to the work, and it was taken care of immediately, even though it was on the weekend.
Everything was cleaned up, no debris was left from the demo. and we are very happy with the final outcome. Even my neighbor across the street and the lawn maintenance gentleman mentioned how nice a job had been done.
I would gladly recommend him for this type of work.

Ryan and his team were fantastic. Could not have asked for a more professional, responsive company. Kept the area clean at the end of the day. Gave some great suggestions on making kitchen more functional. Kept to the estimate and time line that they gave us. We are definitely using Dender Remodeling when time to do our bathrooms.

Ryan came out within a week of contacting him to give us an estimate which was drawn up within a week as well. The guys who did the work were very pleasant and respectful. The work was completed in 3 days as specified in the estimate. We are very pleased with the end result, and we will definitely use this company in the future for our remodeling needs.

No fuss no muss.  Sam and Ryan finished the job in less time than I think Ryan originally thought it would take when he gave me the estimate.  I already had the check made out and I'm guessing if I had not, he would have charged me less.

Dender Remodeling and Construction designed and built our beach house at Cape San Blas. They took our vision and turned it into reality. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. This company is very customer friendly and works with clients as partners.

This company was one of 5 businesses that gave us estimates to add a screened porch to our home.  Dender Construction had the most reasonable cost for us and we had heard positive comments about them from a neighbor.  So they promised the job would take a month and they delivered on that promise despite the heavy rains we had.  They even came on the weekend to catch some good weather and get the job done.  The workers were well-mannered and helpful when we asked questions.  They were very responsive to requests that we made for changes  or additions to the original plans. The porch is beautiful and looks like a perfect fit with the rest of the house.  We are extremely pleased with the finished product and they guarantee their work too!

Mr. Dender and his crew are highly professional.  They have been very respectful to us, our child, our dog and our home & property.  Mr. Dender was on top of phone calls/texts/emails to us without us hounding him.  He was very proactive in contacting us, even emailing/texting photos of completed work to us since we were out of town for most of the work done.
We would definitely recommend Mr. Dender to anyone who needed remodel work done and if any projects come up in the future, we would definitely use his company again.

Dender acted as the general contractor for all this work, provided unique ideas and solutions for issues as they arose, scheduled all of the sub contractors and work teams and kept me informed as the work progressed.  This was made more difficult for Dender due to our need to live in the house while the work progressed.  Their subs showed up on time, did the work requested at a very high quality and were very respectful of both our home and our privacy.   As we changed our requirements they kept us informed on the impact of the changes on project cost and worked with us to ensure we got what we wanted and knew what we were getting.
They were wonderful.

I looked here in Angie's List for a handyman or repair company or individual who could do the repairs requested uy the buyer of my house after the initial inspection. I called Dender Company and Mr. Dender personally came and made the estimate. He was very professional. He subcontracted the siding, roof and ceiling repairs, and the patching, wall repair and painting of the holes left by a wall mounted TV was done by one of his employees. All of them did an excellent job and I did not have any problem with the re-inspection. The estimate was accurate, I didn't have any "surprises" when the job was finished. It was easy to communicate with Mr. Dender through email. I feel that the price was fair.

Randall E Dender ( Randy) is the owner of this company.  In the process of Randy making my fourth bedroom we discovered we had termites in the exterior walls of the garage.  Within 45 minutes he had the head guy doing the stucco work, and the termite control guy out here.  They were all trying to work out how to fix this problem before our garage fell down.  We were so lucky.  All of that came about because of we hiring him to enclose a screen porch into another room.  I can’t say enough good about Randy and his son Ryan.  First of all, they did an excellent job with the room.  Ryan is a perfectionist like I am.  But he saw what I did not see which I really appreciate.  One of their sayings is that this is your home not your construction site.  They put a plastic barrier so that none of the dust from the construction, nothing came into this house.   In the process of doing it we had the stucco inspected and that is when they found the termites.   We were at a point where the corner was just about gone.  There was nothing external to show termite destruction like there was.  I was standing there in tears.  He just took over and called everybody that needed to do whatever and took care of it.  It did cost us a chuck of money but it was not unreasonable amount.  I trust him totally for what he charged us for the work he has done.  The room was done exactly on track as he told me.  When I wanted built-in cabinets he actually gave me the cabinet maker’s name and requested me to work directly with him so that it would cost me less.   The room was finished very timely and then all the other things just kept happening.  The added room cost $10000.  They did everything like the electrical, the hard board siding at the back, stucco on the side, they matched the paint perfectly, painted everything, they did the carpeting, the trimming on the windows and everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to the end.  They had someone else to do the stucco work.  They were so good in asking what needs to be done and in helping me make the decisions.  They just took the stress out of home improvement.  The garage ended up costing us $30000 before we were done.  But it was totally rebuilt both inside and outside with new garage door, entry door, and electrical.  They even installed new window for the new room.  While doing the garage they had to build a temporary structure to hold the garage up because it was eaten totally out by termites and they rebuilt all the exterior walls, put in a new garage door, retained the same windows as it was fine but it had to come out and redone.  They also painted inside and outside for that project.  They had to refinish the interior walls.  He did exactly the same thing as he did in the other room since all of the old structure was eaten up by termites and had rebuild two exterior walls.  So he did what he did on the back corner where we had the screen porch.  They also had to do some additional wiring for the garage door opener and additional lights.  They replaced the exterior lights too.  That was in combination with stucco people because originally there was stucco work on both walls.  They had to re-do all of that.  They went the extra mile they went all the way around this house, took off the stucco and put it back on the way as it should have been applied so that the termites cannot get into anywhere else. Originally stucco was not applied properly and that was the reason why termites got into the garage walls.  My house is 20 years old.  They went back and re-did all the way around the house below the foundation line.  I have had positive experience with these people.  It cost us a lot of money but they did an awful lot of work.  They gave us quality work for the money we paid.  I am retired and my husband is state employed and we don’t have a lot of money but they have been very fair. Another positive about them was that Randy gave you every estimate upfront in writing, detailed what work would be done and if there were any changes he would let me know.  I knew right where we were and what it would cost, basically saying that communication was excellent throughout this process.  I think that is unusual.  We did not have that when the house being built.

These guys  showed thoroughgoing professionalism at every step.    We never had a doubt about the quality of the work at any stage, and all questions and concerns are promptly and cheerfully resolved.   They kept a schedule, and were able to stay on it.   It was surprisingly easy to live in the house while the work was going on (about a 5 month period for us), and they paid good attention to dust barriers,  cleanliness and quiet.   Somehow they found subcontractors who show up to work with a smile.  When an issue  came up---a painter accidentally dented an air conditioner casing---there was no problem whatsoever, case was replaced at no extra cost to us, no frustration or nuisance for us at all.  Their  pricing is fair---and most importantly, under control.    This outfit can stay on budget.   Randy supplied a detailed bid, with a list of allowances that could vary under our control, so we could make decisions  on the many items that go into a job, according to our budget and taste.    They can stick to the bid (it was really that, not an estimate), no need for large reserves.  In our case,  at our request, the  scope of the project evolved considerably  even during the building stages.   Randy supplied prices for additional jobs  as the work went on and  pricing was always consistent and fair even for "extras" that we thought up.     I feel we got what we paid for.   What I do not think you will easily find elsewhere is the quality of communication and help with design   choices.  Especially for a large project, planning is   subject to  constraints of budget, space  and,  in our case, of local codes.  Before taking any significant money, Randy  did a lot of research on what could be done in accordance with local zoning restrictions, and navigated  the permitting process  far enough to be sure we could do what we wanted.    He  skillfully  worked with us to arrive a a design that solved lots of problems, and that we were happy with.  That he is an architect as well as a builder  helped a lot;  we knew  what could  be done and what it would cost.    Even after the work started, Randy and his son   Ryan  were great at clarifying the various options for floors, lighting   and finish details. This outfit has to be among the very best,   and we recommend them highly.  Both Randy and  Ryan were quite pleasant to have around---it was clear that they really aim to please their customers.    We hope to deal with them again, once we're ready  to do our kitchen...

We had contacted four prevous vendors. One never responded back (no estimate, no phone call, nothing), one provided us with a verbal estimate of between $45,000 and $80,000, one provided a one page written estimate of $40,000 to $75,000, and one provided us with drawings, but no written estimate. On other hand, Randy provided us with an eight page written estimate with detailed warrenty information. We were involved from the beginning with the design of the kitchen/great room We were able to work with Randy to get a more firm estimate of $70,000 to $75,000. He told us up front what was involved and kept us in the loop at all times. He and his crew cleaned up the mess at the end of each day and they were able to provide us with a clean, albeit small, living room space. The project was finished within the planned time frame and within budget. It is a wonderful kitchen and has since provided us with some wonderful meals. We could not be happier with the kitchen, the remodelling experience, and with Randy, his son, and their crew. We would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to do any remodelling or additon to their home.
