Comcast is the most underhanded company - who ever reads this stay away find another provider. They will not work with me on the price of the services and don't care that I have been a long time customer (15 year customer) they would rather lose me as a customer than work with me. .

Attempted to do the "do it yourself" install and it did not work. Subsequently had difficulty when calling in to the # on the TV screen. Probably have mid to high grade internet but basic of the basic cable. It way too expensive but what am I going to do? Use DSL through Sprint? Lol!

They advertised the dvr anywhere feature for $10 extra dollars a month. After talking to two different consultants who assured me that it was in fact only $10 a month with no hidden fees- we scheduled the appointment to set it up. When the technician hooked it all up and was about to leave he told us that it really was just a second DVR and not really DVR anywhere unless you were watching a direct tv program. So RED FLAG #1. At this point it was already hooked up and it was only $10 so I was frustrated but ok.
A few weeks goes by I get the bill and low and behold my account has been charged the $10 fee plus another monthly service fee for an additional dvr. I am p***** because I suspected this would be the case but after talking to 2 client service persons and a technician I thought maybe they were being honest. So I call and talk to someone who assures me that there must have been a mistake but she would take the additional charge off. So she sends some signal to our house and the next day the dvr stops working. I call back comcast and the technician says oh we will have to send someone out.
So someone comes and says oh you have the wrong box we will get you set up. RED FLAG #2. Of course I am billed for some HD dvr service now instead of the $10 fee I was originally promised. In fact I have never gotten the promotional fee.

Comcast let us return a faulty cable box at their location. This was after they told us they would send a box to ship it to them. It never arrived.

My Internet service is pretty fast and I have a good selection of channels to choose from on their cable service. They both work. When I have a trouble they are fairly prompt in correcting it. I chose them because there is not much competition so it is what was available. I have no complaints with them.
