Steve came out and walked through the house, making note of special surfaces and explained how he would treat them. He returned a week later to clean and we have been thrilled with his services. He's very professional and mindful of your home being the ultimate personal space, so very conscious of not only the cleaning, which is excellent, but that workers are verified that come into the house through his company. We are very pleased and have hired him to do regular cleaning on a schedule. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I have no idea who this customer is since it's been I'm sure over a year ago. I believe they actually changed there review from a lesser grade which I have no idea how they can rate us when I don't recall ever working for this customer and they rate us after a full year. This unfortunately has to be someone who is trying to lower what our quality is and can't even explain why they gave the review. I asked Angie's List to investigate this particular case and have it removed because I don't think that we have ever done work and they said they would but still it's on here and I'm pretty sure they raised the grade to justify their intentions. Pretty sad that if you look at most of our bad reviews on here it's not about quality or our guarantee to fix if it's not done up to standard but of people just out to hurt small businesses as ours and Angie's list doesn't look out for there providers who pay as well. It's a sad and biased deal unfortunately!

They were responsive, in a very timely manor. They came put the time in. It is a much bigger job but they were flexible in meeting the situation. They were able to accomplish a satisfactory solution appropriate to the situation. They were excellent.

Unfortunately, only one person showed up and not the entire crew. I think the house ended up being too much for one person to do. The laundry room sink was not cleaned. The cabinets surrounding the oven were not cleaned. For that amount of money, I anticipated walking in to smell and see the cleaning. Really nice guy.

Sorry that the service was not up to your liking wish that you would have let me know of anything that seemed to not be cleaned to your likeness. I would have been more then glad to fix anything that was missed. I was positive that I got everything but your the customer and as always your right. Very sorry again. I did wash the sink for sure as for the rags that were there you aunt I believe was cleaning things in your garage with it so I didn't want to throw it away. I cleaned the oven unfortunately some ovens are to the point that I only can do so much. I cleaned it twice. As for the cabinets I would have made sure that it was done and if missed I guarantee my work and would've came a mediately back and fixed it.

Stephen scheduled us for two days later. He contacted me shortly before his arrival time that day to let me know he was running a little behind schedule at the job he was completing. I was fine with him coming as soon as he could, and he arrived about a half hour later. When he arrived, he just knocked it out of the park. The house is spic and span: floors, counters, fans, bathrooms, carpet, blinds, and much more. He wiped down the inside and outside of the fridge and the oven (now they're both spotless!), which I had expected to do later. He even cleaned the dogs' nose prints off the windows. Stephen is thorough, fast, friendly, and extremely good at what he does. We will definitely call him again. Thank you, Stephen; you rocked it!

The vendor showed up on time and was by himself. I asked, anyone else was going to show up? He said his wife was doing another job. I left. A few hours later he called to inform me that he was getting ready to leave. I thought that was rather quick, because on my best day of deep cleaning the house it took over six (6) hours; it averaged about eight (8). I thought his wife came to help out. She didn’t I walk into the house; the perfumed air did not distract me from noticing that my sofa chairs were not moved. It was a bad sign to me. We go through the house and I showed him caked dust on the lips of the medicine cabinets that he cleaned straight away. Visual look on the side of the refrigerator reveal some lint, I asked about cleaning the coils and he said that he didn’t do it because he couldn’t find the coil brush that I showed him. I noticed that the dirty oven liner was on top of the microwave, but said nothing. I rubbed the lights and felt a light layer of dust. He wanted me to point out things that he could take care of then and there but I was afraid he would be here all night. He was very professional and we parted on a pleasant note. I looked around some more but left shortly thereafter to stay with my girl friend for the night before returning home to inspect in full. The final score was in the C+ to B- minus range. The lesser score would have been used in the military during my day, because there wasn’t anything that was exceptional or “Outstanding" enough to promote the final score. I shall award a “B” because I am no longer in the service and my “Top” would say it is GEC.
Description of Work: The following is my review of Great Expectations LLC (GE) for services performed at my 975 square foot heated/cooled townhome between the hours of 11AM and 2:30PM. This is a five (5) point scale with five (5) being the highest and zero (0) the lowest. A five (5) is only possible for that service which is exceptional, going beyond the minimum requirement or “Outstanding”. The ratings do not reflect the “value multiplier” for certain items (i.e. cleaning of refrigerator, oven, toilets has a higher multiplier than that of wiping vanity items, cleaning tops of items, changing linens and making beds). I was a barracks NCOIC in the Marine Corps for five (5) barracks and GE was made aware of this. The cleaning agreement included the following: • Includes cleaning the interior of oven and refrigerator o Oven 4 o Refrigerator 2  Gaskets to the door had grime in them; freezer > refrigerator door  Door rows not clean; middle one had ketchup & mustard stains  Requested the coils be brushed with a brush that was available; said he can do it but didn’t • Kitchen cleaning includes: o Cleaning all cabinets and appliances  Cabinets 4  Appliances 2  Microwave wiped down on the out inside; inside not clean nor was the mat (had crumbs on it)  Mini crock pot was wiped down on the front top but not the back; dust in the place where the devise is secured  Toaster not cleaned; crumbs still in there o Moving your small appliances and other items and cleaning the counter area 2  Leg marks underneath microwave  Bread crumbs underneath toaster  Soiled area underneath cutting boards o Cleaning the tops of all items and replacing them 3 ½  Pyrex bowl with cover top on micro wave not cleaned o Scouring your sink 4 o Sweeping or thoroughly mopping your floor 4 • Bathroom cleaning includes: o Cleaning showers, tubs, toilet, and sinks 3  Soap scum on one third master shower wall  Second shower not cleaned; dust on fiberglass walls o Cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures and treating any mildew 4 o Cleaning your mirrors and the shower door tracks 4 o Moving most vanity items and cleaning your counter areas 4 o Cleaning the tops of vanity items and replacing them 3  Dust on cap and neck Witch Hazel bottle  Dust on cap and neck DYNA-HEX 4 bottle (antiseptic)  Dust on cap and neck of foot callous softener  Dust on L’OREAL anti shave balm o Cleaning your bathroom cabinets and floors 4 • General cleaning includes: o Changing the linens and making the beds 0  Did not do nor was discussed o Cleaning wall decorations, picture frames, light switches, doors, and door trim 3  Pictures on top of main console; dusty and spider-webs  Ninth grade picture of son in main bedroom; dusty o Dusting, cleaning, and/or polishing all furniture & all decorative items 3  Creases of the couch & recliner (living room) had dirt  One chair in dining room had dirt in crease o Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floors 3  Two (2) sofa chairs were not moved and vacuumed • Deep cleaning services include: o Cleaning the blinds 4 o Base boards 4 o Window sills 4 o Ceiling fans 3  Dust on the light bulbs and casing o Other high dusting 3  Dust on chandelier light bulbs and casing

Sorry I didn't bring extra help but unfortunately we never promised to have extra in the first place. Second as badly let go we have you a 100% of what is expected for the services you got considering the lack of cleaning that has been don on this house and how thick the dust and dirt was. We can't reprint or replace it to it original statis especially when the house had appliances and furniture even the computer was from the 1970s and probably not dusted since then. To give me a scale of a Marine Corp. status you would have to first let me clean a place that was up to par with a Marine Corp. status meeting it would've already been up kept and kept up in the first place. To spend extra time you would have to read the fine print and to take and use a brush that you have given me to clean coils out of your refrigerator is not in The agreement in the first placed. I hope that you have a pleasant time in your clean home that obviously you stated was in a better condition than how it was. We are miracle workers and movers we clean homes and have giving you obviously what you were looking for and out is a clean home.

The husband came with a two-person crew of newly hired, not trained, teenagers. Although they were nice, they did not know what cleaning products to use, and had to be coached as he was not able to be in all parts of the home at the same time. Things definitely got missed in the process (one windowsill cleaned, the other one not, the venetian blinds dusted while closed so when you open them the dust is visible on them, bleach spilled on carpet). The husband tried very hard to get the crew up to speed, but training someone on my time and my dime does not seem professional to me. One of the workers removed a glass shelf from my new refrigerator and dropped it in the sink where it shattered. I know accidents happen and I was happy when he offered to replace it. He even went as far as to take down my model number and shelf size for the replacement which he would do the following week. I have never heard from him again. So from this experience, I would not recommend this cleaning company.

sorry that you waited this long to respond to a review I wasn't able to find a replacement for the glass for refrigerator because they stopped making that model. As for the quality of the job we went over our time and didn't charge extra because your home was let go and as for bleach we don't use it so we have so idea how that happened by us. He put in 6 very solid, hard working hours and did a great job. Had one challenge - the cleaning agent on the stove/oven took the numbers off the oven nob - but he made up for it by doing a couple of extra things at the end that he had said he could not do as he was out of time. There was more that could have been done, if we'd had more $$ to have him work another 3 hours or so, but he did everything we asked very well.
Description of Work: In addition to promised services (thoroughly cleaning refrigerator and stove; basic cleaning and dusting, washing and changing sheets, cleaning 2 bathrooms), he also cleaned most of the baseboards on the first floor (which had not been cleaned in 10 years) and dusted the ceiling, which also had not been dusted in years).
