JEFF DID NOT KNOW to LEVEL THE FLOOR prior to laying down new tile.  
This is easy to do w/ a liquid medium that one pours on the subfloor -- the material levels itself.  
His workers, who sometimes did not speak English and were unable to communicate w/ me DROPPED and BROKE several of my tiles.  Travertine is marble.  It is very EXPENSIVE.  
JEFF DID NONE OF THE WORK and DID NOT HAVE HIS WORKERS LEVEL EACH TILE, so one could easily STUB A TOE walking on the floor, or CRACK TILE EDGES because the EDGES STICK UP in places.  
WE RESOLVED THE PROBLEM BY FIRING JEFF prior to his completing the job and not paying him in full.  We hired DAVID STEWART, a very skilled man who knew exactly how to do the job and make the needed repairs.  

They did a nice job. Tore out laminate and tiled in kitchen,foyer, and office. It took 2 full days. 2 man crew was professional and Jeff checked on the job. Only down side was the amount of tile was over estimated by 75 sq ft and the tile is non refundable. Luckily a family member was able to use it. Floor look amazing. There is just one spot that is a toe stubber.

From day one Mr. Chandler showed himself to be a class act. He showed up right on time and did a walk through with me, answering all of my questions, and took measurements. Shortly thereafter he provided me with a very reasonable quote. His crew came out and knocked out the job in short order and did a fantastic job! Throughout the process Mr. Chandler was very responsive, professional, and a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend his services!

He came out and gave me an estimate but I haven't contacted him back to do the work. Nothing about him wrong. There is a possibility that I will use him but I need to do my home work before I make a decision. I have got to get some money before I do too much. He is just one of the factors in it. I would have to get a new estimate at this point because they are only good for thirty days,He may honor the old one but I don't know that. I think he was a very nice guy. He came out sometime in 2013. I had contact with the other contractors and I talked to them about him recently, and they said the rate was the same. The estimate came to sixteen hundred dollars. I like the fact that he came out when he said that he was going to come out and he did it in a timely manner, and it did not take him long to get the information and measurements and get back with me to give me my estimates on line in a professional manner. I like that when he came out he was very nice and very professional. How can you ask for more. From what little bit of contact that I ha, I would give him an 'A'. He is one I would be considering.

Overall a very good experience.

The installer made sexual comments to me. He asked me to get in the shower with him. When they replaced the vents in the bathroom, they didn't even screw them back in.
