Installed the tub incorrectly (it was moving) and the tub had a three inch chip on the acrylic skirt. Found out that these acrylic tubs need to be set in mortar. Using one excuse after another he refused to correct the problems. My husband even took a day off from work when Carns finally said he was coming to reset the tub, however, when he finally showed up at 4:00 after waiting for him all day, he said he just wanted to spray expanding foam under the tub. After an hour and half arguing with him that the tub had to be set in mortar per the manufacturer's instructions. He jumped in his truck and left never to be heard from again. Found out he over charged us for the tub (a similar Kohler was $100 cheaper retail) and the work( more expensive than the most expensive plumber in town). He basically gives you a low per hour fee ($70 per hour). Then proceeds to over charge you with hours. For example, he wanted us to pay him for three hours work to reset the tub. When we had a "real" plumber come in to reset the tub it took them an hour. See how he works? We called the state licensing board and they said this complaint was egregious enough for him to lose his license if we asked for an investigation but we decided that our obligation was to just warn others not to get into the same trouble we did. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this plumber.
