Last year I purchased all of my kitchen pots & pans from Brown's and although I was pleased with the product, I had to keep calling them to find out if the order had been delivered to the store. The pots & pans were delivered later than I was told that they would be at the store and I would have never known if I hadn't been the one constantly calling Brown's. That experience worried me when I found out that I had to order my two Wood Mode cabinets & additional wood needed to build a refrigerator cabinet in order to up-date my kitchen because Brown's is the only Wood Mode representative in town. I paid the required down payment for the Wood Mode material needed for my job in late February, after going through weeks of sending in wood samples to get the final approved stain to match my existing cabinets. I waited .... and waited ..... and then when I could get no answers from Brown's, I finally had to call the Wood Mode Customer Service department and they directed me to the district Wood Mode representative in New Orleans. It was then that I found out that Brown's owed Wood Mode some money for a previous job and consequently, MY job was being "held hostage". It was finally settled and Brown's did take off some money for the inconvenience caused me --- BUT --- it delayed my kitchen renovation for over two months. I was NOT happy. Just be aware that all the "we will call you when .... " means nothing to those at Brown's. The bottom line with Brown's is that they do have good, quality products, but YOU are the one who MUST keep after them if anything is ordered and when purchasing products, be aware that something else may "crop up" that you did not expect and the onus is on YOU to keep track of all procedures and to protect yourself and your investment.
Description of Work: I purchased pots & pans from Brown's the year before I had my problem ordering cabinetry. I purchased two Wood Mode cabinets and wood for the making of a refrigerator "cabinet" to up-grade my kitchen early Spring of 2011.
