I chose them because of their rating.  The only criticism I have was, I am a parent teacher and someone dropped me off after work and they were already closed and I had dropped the car earlier there.  It was at the other side which is very hard for me to get through and it was right before Christmas.  When I got my car and turned it on, all the emergency light were turned on and I was afraid I could not drive it and I cannot look for anybody for help and no one answered the phone because it was a Friday night.  So I drove the car home and I was not even sure if it was safe.  So the next day, I had to get it back and they were very nice and addressed my concern.  I am grateful to them.   

I will recommend them.

Had vehicle towed there.  They told me what was needed and it was fixed 2 days later since they had to wait for a part.

They are the only ones I use for my cars. They are friendly, they do good work, and I get a discount because I have been going to them for so long. I know him so well; I got a good reputation, I could have been using them since late 1990’s.

Bob's was friendly, courteous and performed the necessary repairs at a reasonable price.  They are a down home operation without a fancy outer office but still seemed a bit disorganized administratively. 

They did a good job. They did the work in reasonable time and price.

They quickly fixed the items that needed to be fixed because they knew we only had one car for our family to use and they didn't want us to have torrent a car just to get to and from work and home.

They did shoddy work and we had to have it redone by another auto body company. They promised to return the money paid and didn't. They painted the car and left pain in the interior.

I was given an estimate on the spot when I visited without an appointment.  Was then able to bring my car in on Monday morning and picked it up Tuesday afternoon.  Thought this was fast and the job was done well.  My car looks like new.  Staff was very friendly and helpful.  Location was convenient to where I live on the west side of Tallahassee.

I've been using Bob's Auto Repair for about four years. I like them a lot. They do comprehensive repairs, body works and maintenance all under one roof.

I had heard about how honest and fair Bob and his crew were, but I was amazed at how fast they were able to fix my jeep.  I entered the shop and was greeted by a very cheerful woman by the name of Misty.  (I think she is Bob's daughter)  She was very knowledgable and made me feel like my problems would soon, go away.  Several technicians flanked her and after she issued a few orders, they disappeared and moved my jeep into the garage.  Bob came in from the back and invited me to tour his shop, as we talked about a plan of action for my jeep.  I noticed that even though there was a lot of activity and many vehicles being worked on, they were already working on my jeep.  Next, we stopped in the paint and body area, where we discussed options and a time frame for getting it done.  It was the middle of the week, so I knew for sure I would have to come back to get everything accomplished.  Little did I know, he would have it all done before the weekend.  We had already talked about the price and I was amazed at how much cheaper he was than the other shops I had recently visited.  I kept looking for the catch, but there was none.
When I came back to pick up my jeep, not only did they do an amazing job...but when I had forgot to ask that they install a locking glovebox, Bob grabbed some tools and did it himself.  The whole time he was happy and seemed pleased to be able to help.  I was amazed at the "hands on" approach of this owner and how great of a job they did.  Finally, the price was unbeatable and ended up being less than the original quote!  With all the crooked people out there in this business and overpriced sales jobs that occur every day at the dealerships, it is refreshing to find a small business that still cares about the little things and obviously love what they do.  I will never take my jeep anywhere else and I appreciate the service Angie's List provides.  I think it is important to point out those companies that deserve high marks while exposing those who do not.
