They gave us a fair quote, was the best price we found.  Because we were on pipe clay inspector may them put in a more drain field then expected.  When this house was built Big Bend were the people who installed the original septic tank and drain field and it lasted a long time. Everything was done in a timely manner and put back the way the yard was.  I would use them again and will call them when I need my tank pumped again.

Very nice guy who came.  Took a little doing, but found the tank and did a very good job.  Very honest and the price is fair.

I noticed that my 55 year old septic tank was leaking. I had several septic tank companies come over to give me a price.  By and large, the most knowledgeable was Dennis at Big Bend Septic Tank Service.  He has been in the business for 35 years. He probed the back yard and told me what I needed.  Since, access to the back yard is difficult, I would need a plastic tank.  He had an environmental  person nearby and she came and tested the soil and surveyed the property that day.  I agreed on his price and he stated that he would do the work as soon as the county issued a permit.  The next day, he brought one of his workers over to show him what the work would be. He told me that the permit would probably be issued the following Monday and he would start work Tuesday morning. I confirmed this by phone Monday evening.  On Tuesday, he and his crew showed up a little before 8 am.  They started right to work by pumping out my old septic tank and then proceeded to collapse it in on itself and dig a hole next to it to put the new tank and then trenches for the drain field. The work proceeded rapidly. By 1 pm, all the work was done and by 1:30 everyone was gone.  All in all, each and every worker and Dennis himself acted professionally and with due speed. Some workers I have seen tend to slack off, but not these people. I would recommend Big Bend Septic to anyone who needs septic tank service.

I had some friends tell me that they had to spend more than $2000 to have their drainfield repaired due to neglect of maintenance. I asked how I could avoid this situation and they said call Big Bend and have them pump out, clean and check their septic tank. So I called Big Bend and they came out on time and did a thorough job.
