Arts Afterschool

Description of Work: My grand-daughter (the girl) attended Arts this summer as a summer camp thing. My daughter contracted for the activity, and made the payments, but I was the one dropping her off and picking her up. The girl just loved it! We had her going half days for 4 days a week, and a full day one day a week. I think that what she liked about it was that there were several activities one could participate in every hour, and it was empowering to her to be able to choose what she wanted to do! She knew one other kid there, who was not there every day, but made a number of friends and just had a ball! Kept begging to stay all day every day! | |We were impressed with the overall function of the place. Good security and all like that, but a very caring environment. The management is very involved in the day to day dealings with the kids. At least one of the managers was quite fluent in other languages - I assume Spanish, don't know - but I heard her talking to one of the Mom's and it was amazing! | |Any time you amass a bunch of kids in one place, there's going to be some issues. Was impressed with how well the management handled such issues. | |As we told them at the end of summer, the girl would love to come back, and we would send her if ever there is a need! But I am retired, and can take care of her after school for now. But if ever there is a need, we would not hesitate to send her back for after school or summer or other events!

Description of Work: Full-time daycare for my six-year-old son while on Winter break from school.
