ARMOR REALTY OF TALLAHASSEE

We found this company through a Google search for VA loans in Tallahassee, which led us to Debbie Kirkland (a Realtor with Armor Realty). Debbie has a website which she has dedicated to the fact that she does VA home loans in Tallahassee, and all about their promise to Veterans. This sounded like exactly what we wanted, since we had decided to go the VA loan route. We made an appointment, and arrived at the office, and after sitting in the waiting room, we are told that she is no longer available to see us and that somebody else would be helping us from that point. Apparently, we weren't spending enough money on a house for Mrs Kirkland to treat us properly. We found this to be very disappointing, as we had only gone to them in the first place, because she seemed very familiar with the VA loan process. We almost left to find a new company, but since we were already there and had traveled 12 hours to come and look at houses, we stuck it out. Thankfully Armor Realty linked us up with another Realtor (Abraham Middleton), who wound up doing a great job in the end (we closed on the home), but had no experience with VA loans (which is what we were using). Luckily he is a quick learner, and had great contacts around Tallahassee with contractors, inspectors, and our mortgage officer. Abe closed a tough deal, and is the only reason I am not rating Armor Realty with F's across the board.

We listed our home with Agent Kim McAllister in late November 2013, and by April 2014, our house was SOLD. He was honest with the comparisons of our home with other sales, did not overprice it to obtain the listing and continued to give us feedback during the sale time. He consistently advertised our home in several sites on the computer and hard copy magazines and newspapers. Kim gave us excellent advice on how to present our home, what vendors to use for painting, etc. He called with each showing and gave us feedback and was in constant contact with other realtors to remind them our home was on the market. Our home was in Chemonie Crossing and was on over 2 acres. He is one of the best realtors we have EVER worked with (and I have bought and sold 20 homes). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you either list or buy from this agent. He is honest, forthright and wants the best for his customers. We had no concerns with the sale of this home and felt the price we received was fair market value. This agent goes the extra mile and this type of customer service is rare today!
