Wonderful!  He and his crew showed up on time, worked well with the landscaping contractor. and got the job done on time.  It is a great addition to enhancement of the yard.

Buz Ireland of Aquafeatures scheduled time with us to discuss our objective in adding a pond to our landscape. I very much appreciated that this was not a and quot;salesand quot; call but an opportunity to discuss what we would like in a pond and how it would be achieved. Buz was great in discussing the construction of a pond and answering all of our questions and we were shown photos of finished projects and before and after shots. Once we indicated we were ready to proceed, a proposal was delivered for our approval and the work was scheduled to begin as soon as tree removal was complete. After two meetings with Buz, we were confident he would deliver exactly what he said he would. In fact, reality exceeded expectations. The pond was installed on time, as scheduled with high quality materials and by a crew who built it as if for their own yard. Every request, including our somewhat frivolous request that a long resident frog be saved from a small prefab pond and returned to the new pond, were met with willing response.
Great care was taken during each phase of construction. From planning and delivery of required materials through excavation and site prep, liner installation and waterfall design, I saw nothing but perfection. in watching the pond being built, I learned that creating a beautiful pond requires great physical strength and stamina (digging, heavy liner handling, rock lifting) and artistic design for shape, and style, and rock selection and placement. I watched as Buz and his talented crew worked at each phase with care, precision and a very good eye for appearance. The stream and waterfall were important to achieving the look and sounds we wanted and I smiled as each rock was carefully selected and placed, inspected for approval and discarded if it did not sit properly and look perfect. This impressed and pleased me as I knew I was getting a well built and beautiful pond.
Construction proceeded as scheduled and Buz let us know what to expect along the way. From beginning to end, the pond took approximately four days to build and Buz and his crew were around after it was complete, checking on water quality and tweaking rock placement and appearance. Buz worked closely with our landscaper as requested or necessary to coordinate the two projects. Aquafeatures has been great in every respect.
Working with Aquafeatures was such a positive experience. It is not often that a customer/client is as thoroughly satisfied as we have been. The pond is more beautiful than we expected it to be and our backyard is now our favorite destination. Aquafeatures has our lasting gratitude for their beautiful work, our appreciation for providing a beautiful outdoor environment for family, friends and wildlife and our highest recommendation for anyone considering the construction of a pond or water feature.
