ADT AUTHORIZED DEALER

This was the fourth time ADT has tried to fix a recurring fault at the front door sensor. Each time, the repair lasts 2 to 3 weeks then re-occurs. Today, I am having the door sensor replaced with a motion sensor. For all this trouble, I asked for an adjustment to my bill. ADT sent me a $50 Gift Certificate. In order to receive my gift card, I have to send Mpell Solutions $4.95 for S&H. They only accept money orders or cashiers checks. This costs another $2.00 for the money order. Like Mission: Impossible, ADT disavows any knowledge of Mpell's practices or policies. When I first bought this system from ADT, I received a $100 gift certificate, and I had to go through the same process. My total experience with ADT has been with a company that sells over-priced equipment that sometimes works while insuring they collect expensive monthly monitoring fees. The really frustrating part is that ADT subcontracts installation, support, and monitoring to other companies. Beware of ADT!
