I reach out to the company and scheduled an estimate review. Lon Nelson himself came out to my home on the scheduled appointment. Lon was professional and detailed with describing the scope of his work. My roof is repaired and the company was clean neat and on the job the scheduled date. I highly recommend this company and my only regret is that I did not use their services sooner. I can guarantee that I will use their services in the future.

I meet with over 10 roofing company and found Lon Nelson (the owner) to be extremly honest, professional and provided me a fair price for a new roof on my home. I’ve used Tip Top Roofing twice in the past 8 months for two different roof leaks. On my first repair, they inspected my roof and determined that I will need to repair another area soon. I didn’t believe them and within a few months, the leak showed up right where he said it would be. I’m extremely satisified with the price, repair work and response. They are my go to roofing company.

I am extremely pleased with the work performed by Tip Top Roofing. I had two separate roof leaks in two separate places, at two different times, and Lon Nelson and his team wonderfully handled both of these repairs in a timely manner. Afterwards, no leaks in either location. Tip Top is not the most expensive roofing company in South Florida nor are they the cheapest. However they are efficient and effective roofers. Lon came and explained with photographs from A to Z how the repairs were going to be completed. He communicated through the entire process and returned every phone call made to him in a timely manner. His team arrived when he said they would and if the weather was poor, he would call me and let me know that the weather was holding things up. You don't want a big hole in your roof when the sky opens up. Lastly, I was selling my home and buyer's inspector wasn't satisfied with some loose and cracked barrel tile on our roof; purely cosmetic and not affecting the integrity of the roof. I called Lon and his team of roofers came when they said they would and fixed the roof to the satisfaction of the buyer's inspector. I would use Lon again if I ever had a problem with my roof. He is honest and dependable, a rare breed in a business full of shysters!

I had two different leaks in my roof. The owner Lon came to do an estimate. He was always prompt and very professional. The services were performed shortly after the estimate. The work done seems to be high quality. No more leaks.

It was delayed months because of incessant rain. Once job was commenced, it went very well. A/Cs were detached, stands were added and reconnected in 6 hours. The cleanup was amazing. After packing up materials, the crew cleaned all areas thoroughly including front and backs of individual units. Since I was doing repairs inside my unit, no one was home during the 2nd week and temps were cool, it wasn't noticed that my A/C was not on. I phoned Tip Top on Saturday late afternoon. He not only returned my call but had his A/C tech out to remedy problem in about an hour. Thanks for a great job!

Tip top roofing‘s workers were professional, they cleaned up after themselves, they worked above and beyond and even found extra damage that was not anticipated and felt a need to let Lon know and repair it. I was very impressed and would refer this company to anyone.

Excellent service from the start. We called out several companies for estimates and Lon was by far the most impressive - his inspection was comprehensive and he was extremely personable as well. Most other estimators didn't even want to deal with the garage roof at all, because it's unusual - a flat roof/porch over a garage, while the rest of the house is typical Coral Springs clay tile. But Lon gave some thought to how to do it and was willing to take it on. After assessing the damage, Lon laid out a few options for us. On his advice, we decided to go with a shorter-term, lower-cost solution for the garage roof, since we will need to re-do the entire roof in an estimated 5-7 years anyway. So we have a solid-but-not-perfect solution in place at the moment, and will be able to do the more complete long-term solution at the same time as the rest of the roof, allowing us to save $$ in the short term. There were some scheduling issues, but those were all entirely due to the seemingly endless rain we had this summer. Lon was communicative throughout and his crew were punctual and thorough once we could finally find a weather break to do the work. They cleaned up carefully afterwards as well, which I deeply appreciate in a contractor. Lon came back a few days later after the work was done and took the time to do a little extra detail work, including cleaning off a small patch of tar that had dripped onto the flashing and sealing a very small gap his guys had overlooked. Really appreciated that professionalism and attention to detail. We will be recommending Lon and Tip Top Roofing to friends and family and he will be our first call when the time comes for the full roof replacement.

I thought I had a leak in the roof somewhere. He went up into the attic, on a 93 degree day in August, and found no leak, but an A/C problem. He gave me a name of a A/C company, took pictures of the problem and emailed them to me so I could get it fixed. All of this work, and didn't charge me a penny.....Great work ethic, great contractor!!

Work completed on time and very responsive

The owner arrived as scheduled to provide the free estimate. We had a leak in our roof over one corner of our home office. He offered a competitive price plus an AngiesList discount. We we able to get on his repair schedule within a few days. His workers arrived on-time to do the repairs and completed them as scheduled. They were professional and efficient. We are pleased with the appearance of the roof (they did a good job matching the tiles). So far, no more leaking so we recommend this company and would hire them again.

OUTSTANDING

Job was done in less than four weeks from rip down of original tiles through inspection. Workers were there when they were supposed to be, premises were left clean after each days work. No complaints whatsoever for this company.

Estimate provided for work needed was in line with others we received but not the lowest. We picked him over the others based on great customer service. The work was done well and finished promptly. Thank you!

Excellent. We had a problem that was repaired. We had an additional problem a week later. Lon came out both times and repaired the problems. He was friendly, courteous, professional, cleaned up all debris and took it away. We will definitely recommend Tip Top Roofing to our family and friends.

Lon helped identify where the leak was on the home. I originally thought it was in a different location and he explained why it couldn't be there. It may have just been a window that was not caulked. They only replaced what was needed of the wood to save us money. All the workers were neat and clean. They were timely and that did a great job on the roof. We are very happy with the work. They were super helpful in the picking of the color for the shingles. Everything they did was very helpful.
