We needed quite a bit of work done on our little 1948 house, including but not limited to demoing the kitchen wall, gutting and completely renovating the master and guest bathroom, replacing the kitchen countertop, extending the concrete patio, replacing and fixing the leaking back patio roof, sanding and staining wood floors, installing recessed lighting, and painting the interior of house. Other smaller projects around the house include removing an old A/C unit from the wall of our dining room, and covering up the hole with a similarly textured wall covering.
As first-time homeowners, we knew we needed  to hire someone who was dependable, honest, and with high professional standards.  Edwidge Clark of Denmar Construction Group was recommended to us by our realtor. From start to finish, he was a shining example of professionalism and dedication. GC's of this caliber are very hard to find, especially in Miami.
Throughout the entire process, Edwige was in constant contact with us, making sure that we were updated on the progress of the renovation. He was quick to recommend easy and cost-efficient fixes and workaround whenever he saw fit - we never felt as if he was trying to steer us into spending more money than we could afford. He also has a creative eye, and has excellent ideas on interior design (even though that is not his realm of specialty). Denmar Construction's crew worked cleanly and efficiently. The small roadblocks that we encountered (slight termite damage, corroded cast iron pipe) were met with swift and timely responses.
