 + -1 moreWe hired AEGIS to replace our entire roof damaged by Hurricane Irma. His price was the highest but he was referred by Minority Builder Association President so we thought we were making the right choice. The roofer took 3 months to complete which delayed insurance proceedings. Two weeks into the project, the roofer said he had to purchase additional wood. We requested to know the amount before moving forward. He proceeded with the repair without approval or providing proof of purchase. Then he hit us with a bill for an additional $6,000! In addition, the roofer used inappropriate language with us when we asked why didn't he replace the soffit and fascia. Please review the contract he provides or use your own. This roofer is unethical and unprofessional. We are currently in litigation.
