RITE-TEMP HEATING & AIR COND

Could not have gone better.
We replaced our unit when we noticed that several neighbors had to replace theirs. So, we had plenty of time to look around and shop prices. Rite-Temp was not the lowest bidder. We chose Rite-Temp because of his expertise. I'm an engineer and I have a good understanding of the principles of air conditioning and heat pumps. Leo (the owner) knows a lot more. We arranged to install a switch that would allow us to operate our heat pump more cheaply. (A sales rep from another company could not even understand the problem.)
The installers showed up on time. They were quiet, professional and knowlegeable. When they were done, the removed the old unit and swept up the mess.
The new unit (an American Standard) performs beautifully.

They are reliable and trustworthy.

They are very professional. I know that I'm not getting ripped off. They installed a new unit for us and for my mom. The price was very reasonable. They are low key. They are old style and traditional. They are trustworthy. They are very good.

They're just a wonderful company. My parents and I have been using them for about 15 years or more. They are always honest, reasonable,on time and they know what their doing !

We had called for and quot;emergenciesand quot; before, but we decided to just wait for our appointment this time. (Once he stayed with us until 10:30 PM! for a heating problem, so we don't want to push our luck, here :)

Leo of Rite-Temp is always prompt, professional, and thorough. He explains procedures and parts so that we understand what he is doing, and why he's doing it. He will advise us as to what can wait, and what can't. I am impressed with his troubleshooting skills! We have an older system, and when it gives up for good, we will trust Leo to advise us and install a new one.

His billing is easy to understand and we feel that his charges are fair.

Update 4/24/13: We continue to call on Rite-Temp for our heating and cooling services. ALL employees are friendly and helpful, from our first phone call to schedule, to the billing and payment. Today we were able to move up to an earlier time, as we were notified this morning. I think I'm approaching 20 years as a customer!

Update: 9/1/2014: Still a huge fan of Rite-Temp. We have regular and quot;checkupsand quot; and we've called twice for service since our last review. Still hoping the ol' unit will last a little longer, though!
