The job went incredibly well. Six months ago I contacted Ben after seeing a kitchen his company had done for a former co-worker. He came by my house and we went over what I wanted done and he gave me a cost estimate. Since I have champagne taste on a beer budget, he tweaked the estimate for me and I gave him a deposit. I explained that I did not need an immediate start date because I could not draw out more money without paying a penalty, but I wanted to do the work early in 2017. Ben was very agreeable to my needs and the job actually began in late January 2017. It was completed on February 17, 2017---exactly four weeks to do the job, just as Ben told me. The crew, led by Ben's son Angelo were fantastic. The arrived at 8 a.m. each day and worked steadily. At the end of the day, they cleaned up before they left. They arranged the work so I could stay in the house and not have to board my dogs. The house is now gorgeous. The tile work in the kitchen and bathrooms is perfect. A wall and pocket door were removed from the master bath which resulted in a hole in the ceiling. No one would ever know that wall existed--the ceiling was closed and repaired flawlessly, leaving no trace behind. In addition, rather than remove a section of wall between the living room and dining room, the wall was cut down, giving the house a more open floor plan. Now I have a shelf area I didn't have before and this little bit of creativity is a wonderful touch. I have new interior doors on every room, new wood work throughout and newly painted rooms that added new life to an old house. And, not only did they put up my new curtain rods, they hung my new drapes. When LHI finished up, the job wasn't over. Angelo came back on his own time to hang the new mirror in my master bath (the plumber was not finished when LHI was) and did a little touch up. It was something that wasn't part of the contract, but LHI has a real commitment to their customers. Every thing they did, they did with an eye to detail. When I signed the contract, Ben told me, "If you aren't happy, we're not happy." Well, I am a very happy customer.

Ben and Sandra Licciardello quickly responded to my initial contact. Ben questioned my preference for aluminum siding instead of vinyl, explaining the pros and cons, and accepted that I was set on aluminum. Ben analyzed every aspect of the project. With a multi-story Victorian home, Ben was concerned about the safety of his crew and the price tag. Cost saving was incorporated without sacrificing quality or safety. I was contacted and included throughout the process to ensure the end result was to my liking. Ben offered suggestions based on his years of expertise to maximize the beauty of my home.

Once underway, the crew was on site by 8:00 each morning. The installers offered to help me take down any pictures or mirrors which might be disturbed. This kind of thoughtfulness continued throughout the installation. A friendlier, more polite crew does not exist. They were responsive to my every request and concern. Ben visited the work site daily throughout the three weeks. Ben and I conferenced continuously. We inspected the house together to establish a punch list and again when everything was completed. The site was meticulously cleared of all construction debris on the final day. The old aluminum was hauled for recycling.

I am absolutely thrilled with the final product. My home is even more beautiful than I anticipated. I will be contacting Licciardello Home Improvement for future projects on my home. They have my highest recommendation.

This project was well done and I strongly recommend LHI. We interviews 3 contractors. Window World's quote was the lowest at about 2k. They appeared to be good windows and would have worked out fine had we wanted the lowest cost. Fairbank Construction's est was over 5k. Their windows did strike us as best, if only because when they used a heat lamp to demonstrate how well the Windows blocked the heat, when I placed my hand against the inside pane I felt zero heat. I did wait long enough for the glass to heat, and felt the heat lamp separately to insure it was heating. I would expect them to b honest, but I wasn't ready to pay the increased cost for this apparent advantage, particularly to find out after installation that the actual Windows installed did feel warm on the inside pane. However, their cost was 3k/150% more that Window World and 2k more than LHI. They were the first contractor we interviewed and they offered 10% discount if we had signed on the spot. I do know someone who took advantage of this and they are very, very pleased with their windows. However, we felt the technique was a bit strong. Had we gone with them and cancelled the appointments with the other contractors, we would not have known their price was much higher. Any company has the right to choose its sales techniques. The buyer must evaluate what he/she feels is best for them. Note also that the NFRC energy ratings for all three contractors were all within an insubstantial marginal difference. LHI's U rating of .30 compared to .29 for the other 2. The most important rating- solar heat gain- was .23 for LHI vs .21 for WW and .19 for Fairbanks. All of these ratings are low and well below the recommended maximums for FL. We went with LHI for many reasons: 1) we did not want the lower cost window world option because we felt they were more entry-level than LHI's and we plan to live in our home a long time (all offered lifetime warranty). 2) We were impressed with the quality of the LHI Windows. 3) we were highly impressed with Ben L., the owner. His wife and a number of children work for the business, and Ben clearly presented himself as a stickler for a quality installation by his staff (including his children). 4) At the time in August 2015 the Angie reviews were stellar, 20+ customers rating almost every criteria an A except for one B. The Windows were installed in early Oct. We have been highly pleased with the windows, the politeness of the crew (two of whom were Ben's sons), and with the fast efficient installation (half a day). During the installation I was highly impressed by how there was minimal daylight coming through the gaps between the Window frames and the window opening, evidence both high quality special order measurement by Ben, and construction of the Windows. Ben arrived at the end of installation and performed a quality inspection. We have since noted a very substantial reduction in outside noise when the Windows are locked, but it's too early to determine the level of ac/heat energy bill reduction. (You most likely get sufficient payback in short order to payoff the Windows.) I would strongly recommend LHI for Windows. We will use them for future projects! Tom

Licciardello Home Improvement (LHI) did an outstanding job installing vinyl siding on my home. Ben, the owner is extremely friendly and professional, explaining every step in detail of what he intended to do. His prices were extremely competitive and I got a lot of value for my money. His crew cleaned up after them selves every day to insure the job site stayed as neat and tidy as possible and as safe for us during evening hours. Ben is a perfectionist and oversees his install crews closely to insure top quality workmanship with attention to detail. I have an older wood frame home in the trees, with lots of shade in Florida, so wood rot was a problem. LHI replaced every single board they didn?t think was sound to insure the vinyl siding would last the life of my home.  I was also having a new metal roof installed at the same time as the siding and LHI identified and corrected multiple structural and workmanship problems that the roofer had caused. After the job was finished the building inspector signed every thing off with no issues or problems. Shortly there after my elderly mother in Pensacola had a stroke, and I had to go there for a week or so to take care of my dad while she was in the hospital. As soon as I got back into town I sat down to write this review. That?s how important it was to me that I got this review finished so anyone that needs vinyl siding should not hesitate to contact LHI. You will not find a better or more competent contractor.

This company is a gem. I couldn't be happier. The work was excellent. The crew very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond. Worked very hard throughout day. The owner was the estimator. Prompt, knowledgeable. Had samples. The quote will cover unforeseen problems.  This is a family owned business and patriarch double checks works during and at the end of a project. A family member is on site for all jobs. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. Could leave and run errands.  I will definitely use them for future projects. YOU SHOULD TOO!!   A+++
