After having my mother's Hyundai Sonata towed to Hilton Automotive by AAA after it died on the road on Sunday. Monday Hilton Autotive called to say the alternator was bad and the battery was bad too and it would be $600.00+ to fix it. After talking to the owner Don Hilton who agrees the Hyundai was not worth fixing I found a person to buy the Hyundai and after the person that purchased the vehicle asked Don Hilton to give the battery back that he had somewhere in his automotive garage he decided to charge us $80.00 for a diagnostic test he had not bothered to mention several days ago when we spoke on the phone. Seems like any idiot could have known it was a bad alternator or he could have called me to discuss it. So it looks like Don Hilton was hoping to keep the battery which was not very old and perhaps sell it to another customer? It is not the first time there has been issues with this gargage as I had a driver's side window that needed a regulator a few years ago and he quoted me a price of $250.00 and quoted my husband a price of under $200.00. Seems to be biased when it comes to women! Ladies you might want to go to someone else!!!

They did a really good job

It was okay, not great. The car was there for over 6 weeks and they still didn't fix all the problems with it. The bill was over $3,000. They were very bad about calling people back. They were awfully slow. They said it was the computer with the car. We were back and forth with them and the factory. There is still something wrong with it and it was there when I took it in. They failed to fix that part. I would possibly take another car to them but not a Hyundai. They never called me; I always had to call them. I don't know how much work was involved in getting the car fixed.

They have good customer service. They are very close to my home.
